woke up checked twitter
toilet duck and disinfectant trending?
Have the Flyladies taken over twitter?
No. Far worse. Wow. Unbelievable. Trump suggests injecting disinfectant to kill covid?

Slightly better day yesterday although still felt a bit out of sorts, the tin opener is still bothering me!
Did not get any of yesterdays list done as it took 2 hours to sort and clean the room of doom! Didn’t stay tidy long and by the end of the day was a mess with toys ☹ Took 15min this morning to sort it, must try to add a 15 min tidy in my night routine to keep on top of it. Also did some admin/email/banking type stuff in the afternoon.
This morning I have tidied and cleaned ds room, he did help so that it a massive bonus, dd is doing her room…I stopped doing her room when she turned 10 (apart form a big sort/clean through every 2-3 months)
Been trying to call the pharmacy all morning to see if my prescription is in as I don’t want to go for nothing, going out is not an easy task for us! Do have to go out today though as I have to collect our food parcel from the local food sharing group and try to find marshmallows for a virtual girlguide camp out dd is having this weekend
Need to put ds bedding in the WM and then get on with the still to do’s….but first coffee!
Positive vibes for all those needing them x
Still need to
Wipe sofas, Wash a window, Sort through coats n bags n shoes – Wednesdays list

Good evening!
After completing Round 1 I decided to clear some weeds in the front garden and tidy up. DD2 then came out with some chalks. While I tidied she coloured in the brickwork around our front door. We put a barricade up and let the dog out with us (we don't have a gate, and the road is quite busy). We were out there for about 3 hours! Also had a chat with the neighbours. Anyway, it looks better out there - almost presentable! Still more to do.
Dinner cooked. DH is making his lunch for tomorrow, so I am hoping that he will wash up while he thereAt least he has just brought me a cup of tea!
Last night I deleted some emails, so tonight I might do some more accounts, or update my toots list.....

Thanks for the kind words all, Pigpen yours made me smile. I keep thinking of DHs words last November when he said that whatever is coming our way we will deal with it together. Not sure I could bear to watch DS going through any more chemo but positive thinking right?
At last the weekend is here! Have actually had quite a good week all in all. Flying was put on hold today so that I could read my book in the garden when I finished work, I will catch up tomorrow. Our lovely elderly neighbour is getting shopping bought by her daughter who keeps buying her too much, so we get bags of her surplus left on our doorstep. The boys had free gammon steaks for tea tonight. The whole family are very well off so I don't feel too guilty and neighbour says it would go in the bin otherwise.8 -
Evening all
I have rather fallen off the flying wagon this week, paid stuff is hectic again. On the plus side we have fixed our washing machine issue so I’m catching up on laundry. 7 loads washed and dried so far.... 7 !!!! There are two of us!!!! 2 of the loads were bedding and 2 were towels, the clothes basket is still full. So glad the forecast is nice for this weekend!
Ive managed dailies and the food shop and menu plan are done. I will start my catch up on the lists tomorrow, also need to spend some time in the garden tidying there.Back tomorrow with updates. Big hugs to those in need xx7 -
YL more good vibes coming your way.
The last day or so have gone, or rather ambled, in gardening, RoD decluttering (large white box now empty and contents filed or binned), occasional bit of cleaning.
This morning's excitement was the milkman bringing a large bag of compost, now in stock, and a large yogurt. How little it takes to excite me.....
Cooks: has anyone cooked with coconut flour? Last night I made my old favourite pizza recipe using coconut flour in an attempt to conserve my gf flour. It is a scone-type base not a yeast one. It took almost twice the amount of milk as usual and still the dough didn't really form a ball. It tasted ok but was still pretty like a pile of compressed crumbs under the topping!! The packet said "use as normal plain flour" but I'm wondering if it actually needed something for texture, like xanthan gum. I'll try the other half of the packet in a cake I think, one that doesn't need to rise much.
Mr N had 2 texts today saying he is very vulnerable because of his medical condition and that he must stay indoors till the end of June. He was rather surprised; he is vulnerable but as we don't meet anyone closer than about 10-15ft on our walks or his cycle rides, I don't imagine he is going to change what he's been doing for the last 5 weeks. However it may mean that he gets a letter and we can get on a supermarket list; all the time I've been trying of course it has been in my name. While on his cycle today he went to a local tomato grower, they supply Waitr%se and have an unmanned stall. He got 2 enormous cucumbers, 10 medium-large tomatoes and 12 cherry ones for £4.
Today Mr N took a video of me walking round the garden giving a commentary, to send to my mum. She might really like it or she might just wonder why...........anyway the blasted thing has been uploading go G**gle for about 8hrs now so who knows if it will ever arrive. We've been trying to decide whether to splash out for decent internet speed (G1gaclear put a cable through the village last year) for ages as it is quite a bit more expensive. However we are just out of contract with TT and G1ga have put an offer through the door so we may bite the bullet. I'm a bit nervous of changing as TT are pretty stable if slow (having said that, it dropped out of a Zoom meeting with 3 work colleagues this morning).
Enough rambling. Happy weekend everyone.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -
Morning allHappy weekend to everybody. Catch up day for me today. I’ve just loaded the first of what will be several loads in to the wm, next step is to shower and dress and get myself moving. May just turf DH out of bed soon so he can help. Weather is forecast to be nice, my aim is to get my inside jobs done this morning and get out in the garden this afternoon.
Right, off I go, progress report later 👍😁x8
