Morning all
It’s work time soon. I am considering moving from the cold kitchen table to the newly pristine spare room which gets the sun in the morning. Not sure why it took me so long to come up with that solution...

My token flying for this morning has been to WULTD. DH wants his fleeces etc washed but unless they walk to the wm on their own, that ain’t going to happen some time soon without him actually doing something about it.

ASB - I am so with you on the judgemental looks. Less said the better, but people seem to think it is now ok to judge without knowing.
Narc0 - fingers crossed. There must surely be a law of averages, although maths was never my strong point.

Right, off to work upstairs, if I can get the wifi working. Have a lovely day all x

Morning all

A good start here, OH has had to go into the office today so I am attacking the living room and have the radio on!  Him going to work has meant I got going a bit earlier and have got off to a good start

Bed made, clothes picked up
Kitchen tidied, DW on
WM on
HHI done
Pellet stove cleaned (not been on for the last few days so hope it will continue like that)
Lounge tidied 
Banking & finances updated

Just having a coffee before I pull up my sleeves and get stuck into days list, perfect for me today.  See you all later

Pause time again here but well deserved even if I say it myself

Wet dusted
Vacuumed
Mopped
Throws shaken outside

Now enjoying a drink whilst I wait for it all to dry before I move all the furniture and bits back into place.  Off to sit in the garden with my tea and smother my hands in nice hand cream.

Good morning!
I am up, dressed & had breakfast. I ran outside in my nightie earlier to put the chicken carcass in the food bin before the bin men came - I compost everything else! DW is on.

The biscuits went down quite well yesterday - although DH wasn't sure at first, but they are never exactly the same! Quite honestly, if they were the same I wouldn't bother because of the faff & they are cheap in the shops! 😆 I don't know how to put a photo on here, so can't show you! I may attempt the custard creams today, and have left the butter out to soften a bit.

Check bank accounts & emails

Thank you, Valli, but I don't need any for myself - I was going to donate what I had to the sewing group making scrubs for our local hospital and care homes, but I'd already given mine away to the CS a few weeks ago.
If anyone has any spare buttons, thread (especially blue), old polycotton duvet covers/sheets/pillowcases, washable ribbon or cord for drawstring bags, please pass them on to your local sewers - most groups have a page on FB.  Ours is producing huge quantities of necessities for the NHS/

- S&S'd kitchen
- made cake and flapjack for DS2 and family (to be posted to them later)
- S&S'd kitchen again!
- sorted and started WMx2 - Rosie's blanket etc
- hoovered all through downstairs
Now about to shower and dress (ooo-err-missus!!!) and will S&S bathroom and hoover upstairs.  Clumps of dog hair everywhere!

Wow at the bourbons (though I don't like them! or penguins either which I beleive, though I may be wrong, are chocolate covered penguins)  In fact I once had almost the whole school gasp when I joined in a teacher conversation while we were waiting for assembly to start when I said 'I don't like penguins'... their reaction made me say 'the biscuit! I don't like penguin biscuits!  I do like penguins'.  I had not heard the beginning of the convo and me being me I was thinking 'food'.
Is it LR today?  If so excellent anticipation on my part - three cushion pads are on the line!

ETA oh wow - 'wash soft furnishings' is on level three and I AM! Wooty wooty woot woot

OH says I am bored so has put me in charge of checking local planes flying over head!   https://www.flightradar24.com/52.49,0.55/9  apparently I can check up on the F35's and the local helios going to the rigs off shore  (drag the map to your area, + /-, the yellow things are planes / helios, click on the yellow thing and drop down on the LHS will appear telling you what it is and where it is going, might be good for bored kids and such like   )

Not much done first thing as that's when we get the school work and 'PE' done, ds was not having any of it today and screamed Nooooo through the whole yoga session...not as relaxing as I hoped!

Stood in the kitchen procrastinating over doing my living room/study or the family living room/playroom (aka room of doom) for far too long! Decided that I couldn't face the room of doom so my living room it is.

Have -
Decluttered surfaces & Desk, Dust and dewb (inc skirtings), Sorted junk basket under coffee table, Started to vacuum but the battery went dead even though it is always kept plugged in....ds has a habit of switching sockets off    WHx1, 2nd lot going

Need to -
Vacuum, Wipe sofas, Wash a window, Sort through coats n bags n shoes

But first the little people are demanding food again!
