Morning xx
Snuggled in to ionafan's hug while I drank my cuppaA lovely way to start the day
Weekend Willi was as good as her word - made the bed when she got up, as always, then brought down the laundry hamper, sorted the washing into loads, and set the first load swishing. All before boiling the kettle for a brew.... and before checking the weather forecastHmmmm - going to be much better drying outside weather tomorrow and Monday
Never mind: first load can go on to radiators and the airer. The rest can wait until tomorrow to swish - after much pondering!
Round 1a =
turn on heating
artfully arrange first load of washing on airer and radiators
breakfast
get washed and dressed
Round 1b =
feed the birds
put out the rubbish
tear up boxes
put out recycling
That'll do for starters
Hugs to all

Morning all,
I am up and dressed in my dog walking gear, we will head out shortly. Feeling somewhat stressed and out of control, lots of carp going on here that I cannot get my head around. Why aren't feelings and emotions straightforward? Anyway, the WM is on, I have unloaded the DW and the children are playing happily. That should keep me from running away to a Carribean island (for now!).
take care all x9 -
Good morning 😁
It's very grey here, but only the slightest sprinkling of rain. I suppose we are the driest part of the country!
I am up & dressed. I have some breakfast in the oven for myself, DS & DH, even though they have both been up for ages and neither of them brought me a cup of tea!!
After breakfast I need to gather my thoughts and make a list. I feel like I need a MAD day to gee me up a bit.
I will be back later when I have formulated a plan!7 -

Today’s start wasn’t great - the hospital have still not decided whether to cancel DD’s appointment next week even though she is in the at risk category. Bigger hospital have decided to do a telephone consultation for her other appointment, also next week. DH and I have disagreed again about the sensibility of going to a supermarket. I think I will have to relent early next week. However I have pacified him by making a face mask this morning! Amazing what you can turn out in strange times!
Anyway, I am going to give myself a talking to and crack on. It has been raining gently since the early hours, so I am not going to attempt either the garden or the allotment. It looks like it is now brightening up, so I will need to stick to my resolve. Dusting has been done in the DR (DH is using it as his office, so cleaning there has to be at the weekend, if at all) and our bedroom. I will whizz the vacuum cleaner around the bits that I can see, then maybe go and check on the greenhouse.
Back later. Lots of hugs all round. Thank you for being there. X7 -
Morning all
Busy couple of days paid stuff, not sure when I last posted. House needs a good go today so I need to find some guag.
I’ve done 3 more hours of paid stuff this morning but that’s me clear for the weekend on that. DH is on duty and is still at it.
Lots of rain overnight here so there will be no gardening, more time to tackle the house. I’m going to grab an early lunch as I didn’t have breakfast then get to it.
Back later with a progress report, hugs to all xx6 -
Well, my guag still seems to be missing 🙁 I have had breakfast, loaded the DW, WULTD and checked on the seedlings. The garden looks damp, but not much more than that.
Round whatever (1 or 2?)
Shredding
Put on some happy music
More shredding!8 -

Well done Valli!I've had a nap 🤓, must have needed it, I've also watered the plants and hung the washing out, which of course has meant its now raining 😂😂. Also paid off the dregs of an unwanted credit card and written a letter to close the account. Small wins x9

Good work Valli! And a special (((hug )) to you too - I knew there was at least one other person that I had meant to include on that list last night, but I was too tired to remember
This morning I have tidied round, S&S'd bathroom and kitchen, made phonecalls, done a bit of admin, and turned out one shelf of the linen cupboard to find an old duvet cover and sheet for our local group of sewers to make into scrubs or bags for our local hospital and care homes.
I made butternut squash, sweet potato and red pepper soup for lunch, and it was yummy!
And I have had a reply to the text I sent to my friend who was in hospital last week, saying that she is taking things steadily and improving slowly
The rain has stopped so Rosie and I will get our walk later. First I must go and declutter some more Easter egg with my coffee...9
