Wasnt planning on doing a full check but once i passed the soft check also the fact they changed the offer aswell sayin
3 hard searches now and all for no reason. All because i have been mislead. You can look at it anyway you want, but the bottom line is i have been mislead!
You're still not getting it are you? You applied for THREE credit cards at the SAME time - creating THREE hard searches at the SAME time. Yes the computer might have originally said yes - but once they looked at the detail and saw that you'd applied for THREE cards in quick succession - it's just going to trigger all kinds of warnings and then the ultimate decision to decline the applications. You haven't been misled - you've been greedy - trying to get all the cards at the same time. Wait a few months - keep all your accounts in order - and then try again - but with ONE card.

That is incorrect for two reasons:

1 - The computer never said yes originally. Passed the soft check and then at the end of the application they said 'we will get back to with you a decision'. So the computer did not say yes because at this point it did not know i made 3 applications, it was only the 1 application! So they had no idea i applied for 3 cards.

2 - My friend who has the same set up as me did the exact same thing with LLOYDS, BOS and HALIFAX. Applied to all three for a credit card at the same time. Got accepted by all three in the same ten minutes and got all three credit cards the next few days.

Its not funny that you weren't credit checked on a current account change.  Its standard.

You need to get your credit frenzy under control.  It's all too much, too soon at the moment.  Lenders want to see controlled, measured behaviour, not someone charging around like a supermarket sweep winner.

All i want is a decent credit card with a decent lender.
So - STOP applying for a few months - and then apply for ONE card only. If you keep up the behaviour of applying in lots of places in quick succession - you're not going to get one.

You came here looking for advice and when people give it, and it all seems reasonable, you shout them down.

There is no helping some people!

But you're giving the institutions the impression you want to run up a big credit card debt.

You're the one with the problem, so who are you to determine whether it is correct or incorrect.

I recently applied for an HSBC account. After the credit check it was referred for a human to make a decision. It turns out the reason it was referred was that I have added a correction to my Experian file for an incorrectly reported address. The automated credit check cannot handle anomalies like that, hence it goes to a human to review and make a decision. These now show on my file as a credit application left by the automated credit check and an enquiry by the human who then reviewed the file to make the decision,

In your case, I suspect there is something on your credit file that caused each application to be referred. By the time each of them were reviewed by a human at the three banks all three hard searches would have already been on your file.

If it were me making the decision: Bad credit history + 2 credit cards (I don't know what balances/payment history you have) + 3 applications all at the same time = NO THANKS.

notice of corrections are always checked my human. That is why NO-ONE ever puts a NOC on their account.
There is nothing on my file that causes an application to be referred. Sometimes it just happens.
This is not the point though. I already know how the credit reports, files etc work.
My issue is being misled and done over.

Victim mentality. Always someone else's fault rather than your own.

Start taking ownership and you'll be more successful.
