So.. after some investigation today on using google street view to go back to 2016 (thank you @Umkomaas) I can make out some office signage. Now I really do not know where I will stand in court because they have a lot of evidence(photographs of the vehicles) Quite worried now! Shall I simply go down the route of the extra added charges and just hope I will not have to pay the full amount?

    No!! NOTHING HAS CHANGED.
You go down the route of the template defence in full that also covers the awful signage scenario, and you add YOUR FACTS about the parking event & car park and why the driver thought they were permitted, if you have knowledge and want to admit to being the driver (think about that).

This is Observices, not the sharpest tools in the box, the evolved from a firm of ex-clamper thugs:

Stop worrying.   This is not a bright company of clever young things.
OBServices evidence and the state and print size of words of their 'signs' will be worse than useless!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I am puzzled, how is seeking a SAR a waste of court time?

DPD - I'm puzzled too, where has your reference above come from?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

A rather unfortunate turn of phrase DPD!
