DO you really need to ask...? Youve already requested a SAR directly to the PPC, yes? This means you tell DCB legal that...

Their email is confusing me - 'Are you stating that you wish to make a subject access request to both our client and also DCB legal? Or are you stating that you wish for us to provide any relevant documentation when received, together with our Client responding to your subject access request?'
Sorry if I am being stupid! I've never done anything like this before. I had sent a SAR on the 25th of February to the parking company and requested more information from DCB when filling in the letter of claim.
Can somebody tell me exactly what I should reply to the above email? I think I just need them to forward me info when they receive it from the parking company?0 -
It isnt confusing. theyre asking do you
- want a SAR from both the PPC and them
OR
- are you just wanting relevant documents that are NOT covered by a SAR,(such as photos of signs), when they get them from their client.
You want the latter, obviously. You also may want a SAR from them.2 -
Thanks so should I reply saying I want both a SAR from them and for them to provide me with revelvant documents from their client?0
-
Depends. Do you want a SAR from them?0

What would be the benefits of having a SAR from them? Would receiving relevant info be enough for my case? I'm sorry if I'm being stupid.. I honestly am clueless here.

A SAR would tell you what data they hold on you at the law firm, that of course doesnt include anything that is legally privileged.
Do you think that would help you? It is unlikely to be anything the PPC wouldnt already send you.1 -
Okay thank you for your help!
I will start writing my defence once I have read all of the info thats been provided to me on this thread - thank you all.

Nope, youll start with the template defence already written, which only requires you to change two para.2
