Morning, I didn't go for a walk this morning, I felt tired still when I woke up. Instead I've pottered around and got most of the housework done, my bedding is drying nicely on the line, two other loads have been done and the basket is empty. I have cleaned the bathroom and kitchen and tidied through, I just need to hoover once ds gets up.
Today is mainly a footie kinda day, my walking friend is coming over later after the football for a walk, other than that it will be quite a chilled one today.
We might be running a summer school for a week in the holidays, that will be a nice extra chunk of money if it goes ahead, which can either be chucked into the boiler fund, put in my savings or just used for some desperately needed new clothes. Let's see what happens there :)

Happy bank holiday weekend!! I literally have no plans for the next three days, I will of course be doing walking, housework, planking and planning :) Tonight I need to sort out the end of month banking which is in a  bit of a pickle so I need to get that sorted.

Work has been fine this week, lots of stressed kids but they are nearing the finish line finally. Right, off to check the money situation ..

Well somehow I finished with a surplus last month - it was a whole £17 but always good news :)
The new months budget has been sorted, money moved into the various pots and I'm all good to go. This morning I have done the food shopping (£38) and today is going to be spent catching up on housework, doing some exercise and watching footie, only a few games left of this season now.
I am also waiting for an amazon delivery today of a new carpet shampoo machine ... I was chatting with the 37 year old last night and he bought one and the before / after photos were great so I treated myself - it was £99 and I paid about £80 to have them cleaned before lockdown so I figured I'll soon be saving money. My carpets are light and get a lot of traffic, especially when the dog is here.
Right, on to the cleaning ... :)

So the carpet shampoo machine arrived and its great - my carpets have been done very quickly but I need to go back and do them properly and move furniture etc. There was an awful lot of sand in my carpets, not surprising with the amount of time I spend at the beach I suppose.

Today I went out for a walk this morning and was going to do another good walk this afternoon but the weather is pretty pants so I'm having an indoor day instead, getting organised, making plans etc. So, the candles are on, coffee is brewing, and my big notebook is out :)

Savingmore - I keep them for a long time and then every now and then I clear them out :)

This morning I did a 10 mile walk down the beach nice and early as the weather is meant to be rubbish later on. Ds is working all day today so the day is all mine again. Much the same as yesterday planned really :)

Oops haven't updated for a week, sorry! Ds went to his Dads this weekend so I had a lovely relaxing weekend to myself. My walking friend came over on friday, we went for a walk down the beach then he stayed over. He went home Saturday as he isn't into football and I wanted to watch it as it was the end of the season :) Other than that I pootled around on Saturday doing housework. Sunday I did a 10 mile walk at the beach which included a 5k run in the middle of it. I didn't intend to do it, once I got to the halfway point where I turn around I thought I'd jog a little bit to start me off on the return leg and then kept going!
This morning I did a 5k run before work, I managed it in 35 minutes which I'm very happy with indeed, I haven't done C25K or anything this time, it's purely my walking that has built up my fitness.
In other news the 37 year old (lets call him Abs) has gone a bit quiet - he will reply if I message him but it's always me starting the chats. Not really a problem as I knew it was only casual, he says he does want to see me again but doesn't appear to be in a great rush to do so ...
The one from last summer (the original hottie) messaged me for a chat on Saturday which he never does, again it tends to be me starting the conversations there too. Anyway, we're hopefully meeting up later this week (his suggestion) :) I'm very much looking forward to that :):)
I did meet a guy yesterday for coffee in town, was a really strange one because normally when I meet someone I know straight away if its a yes or a no and this one could easily have been a yes, he was a nice guy and clearly very new to online dating, quite nervous but just really nice, but ultimately I don't want to give up abs or the hottie just yet. I know neither of them are ever going to amount to much but its exciting and the sex with the hottie is the best I've ever had by a country mile. So I've decided I'm not going to chat with anyone else online at the moment either, I'll just see what happens with those two for now.
Moneywise there isn't much going on, hopefully with things unlocking further there might be some events soon where I can take my cards.

Another run this morning, this time I managed to run all of it without any walking bits, very happy with that and I did it in 33 minutes :)
After work I've pottered about a bit, just had dinner, a shower and got into bed with the laptop and some spa music and am going to chill this evening.
Two weeks to go with my kids at school, then a week off, then 6 weeks of getting ready for the new lot in September.
Nothing much else to report moneywise, I need to get some surveys and bits done but all fairly quiet.
Abs was very chatty today, he said he hasn't been well this last week which is why he's been quiet, it was nice to talk to him.

Morning all, nothing planned at all this weekend - ds is working all day today and tomorrow so I have the house to myself. I did most of the housework last night so the place is pretty tidy and organised at the moment. The weather isn't looking good, I need to do the food shopping, other than that there will no doubt be some walking. a workout, hopefully some money making somewhere in there too oh and an FA cup final to watch :)
