I am in awe of you Benben.
Good luck! XXXNevertheless she persisted.1 -
So the planned route was a bit of a nightmare - the instructions weren't clear enough and I went wrong quite quickly, luckily it was in an area I knew fairly well, but I didn't want to risk it in some areas of East London that I'm not familiar with, so I decided to scrap the route and just aim for the mileage instead. I completed the 37 miles at 8pm tonight, then had to drive home (1 hr 45), anyway, I got home, had a hot shower and am now tucked up in bed hoping I don't ache too bad tomorrowMortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000

So ds went to work on Monday evening, came home and went to bed. Woke up yesterday and didn't feel well, I gave him a covid test to do as we have loads here as I have to test regularly at school. It came up as positive, so we booked in for the PCR test, both went and had that done last night and his came back positive again (mine is negative). So we both have to isolate for 10 days. One day done so far and I'm going up the wall, I want to go out for a walk!!
Luckily the weather is good so I've spent most of today in the garden, I have done a Tesco order which is coming tomorrow night. Ds is not right but not too bad, it's like he has a head cold - a runny nose, very lethargic and a very bloodshot eye. So, my trip to see the original hottie tomorrow night has had to be cancelled

Oh no!!! Hope he shakes it off ok. This is my worry, with the teens not having the vaccine yet, the girl in particular because she is working as well as college.
Hope you stay clear of it too.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0 -
Day four ... I am going up the walls not being able to go for a walk ... the first lockdown was fine as I could go out for exercise, and to the supermarket if needed, whereas this time I can't go anywhere. Knowing everyone else is out and about too doesn't help
Ds is feeling a lot better, I however have his symptoms (mildly), I have been doing lateral flow tests each day (from work) and they are all showing as negative. I think i have it, but very mildly, I think the vaccines have done their job and it hasn't got a proper hold
So today will be spent mainly working on my tan, watching football and doing hundreds of laps of the lounge to try and get some steps inThe dog decided it was time to get up at 3.45 this morning so I have done a few thousand steps already, cleaned the bathroom had breakfast, had a shower and tidied my bedroom.
At least the Euros have started now so that means lots of football for me to watch and quite a few decent bets tooMortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000

Yesterday after my post I began feeling worse so phoned the number I'd been given and was advised to go for another PCR test. Results came in this morning and it is positive
I don't have the normal symptoms, it's more like a head cold or tonsilitis. So I now need to isolate until Sunday next week, I'm fed up of this
In other news I did message the original hottie to say I'd got it, we chatted a bit and he said he was looking forward to seeing me soon. I replied saying I was looking forward to it too and that I missed him. I ummed and aahed about sending that for ages as what we have is just a bit of fun, feelings aren't discussed (he said after our first meeting that he wasn't looking for a relationship) and I was conscious that we don't chat like that. Anyway, he replied "Same, miss you too xx"It has absolutely made my day - I know it doesn't really mean anything but it is a huge step forward

Take a bit of advice? You will need to take it easy after the 'freedom' date. I've had it and I'm still suffering from fatigue and brain fog. Getting there but that was the end of Jan.1

Thank you Gran3, I have spoken to work and said I won't be doing stuff at home for a few days, I need to rest. My biggest worry is my walking, I am hating not being able to go out each morning. But you're right, I will need to take it slowly. I hope you are doing okay too xxMortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000
