I'm not sure if I mentioned it on here or not but I did an STI test last week - I had phoned my local clinic (based at the hospital) and they said they were advising people not to come in and get tested but to do it online. You can enter your address details and they post it to you. I must say it's a fab service - the tests arrived on Tuesday, I posted them back Thursday and got the results today! There were two tests, the first one was a swab for chlamydia and gonorrhoea, the second one a blood test for syphilis and HIV. I am very pleased to report that they call came back negative :):) One less thing to be worrying about :) I had to share it with you guys on here because other than my bestie I don't really want to be telling other people, but I do feel happy about it :)

In other news I went to Tesco and spent £35 on shopping, cheaper than if I'd done it online so that's good. That leaves me £18 until payday (Wednesday), although I don't think I should need anything before then anyway.

Morning all, thanks for your comments :) At least if I do meet someone else I can go into it knowing everything's okay.
Today I am meeting a friend down the beach for a walk, other than that I don't have any plans as yet. I have just cashed out £12 from prolific, this is one of the only survey sites I tend to use now - easy interesting surveys and decent money for them too, none of that screening out nonsense!

Well done on doing the tests. Stressful, but necessary, but so easy to just bury your head in the sand.

My walk was lovely, it was good to catch up with my friend I haven't seen her for ages. I've really struggled this weekend with not texting him. I know it's just because I'm lonely, but normally we message each other throughout our day and I'm finding it hard not being in touch with him. I know it will get easier and I know I need to not contact him, but I really miss the day to day chat about nothing much. Hopefully tomorrow will be easier as I'll be busy at work but the thought of 6 weeks off soon isn't helping. I am looking forward to things opening and getting back to normal as I have too much time on my hands with not much to do.
