I sent copy of statement to ombudsman that went against what the bank was saying, so ombudsman where waiting for there response on it, and bank came back and said we no longer give consent for you to look at this case, and that is when ombudsman said they will be looking into it further-1

Don't want to be going over the same ground over and over, so, I shall wait for the outcome of it all, then post something one way or the other, cheers for all your responses, will be great to get to the end of this farce, and win in the end-1

The bank will only refuse consent to access the FOS in the following circumstances
1 - it has been more than 6 months from the original complaint response (second attempts use the original date)
2 - It has been more than 3 years from being reasonably aware of an issue and more than 6 months from the date of sale.
3 - your complaint does not fall within the remit of the FOS.
So, which of these are apply to you?
The FOS rarely overturn a barring. It happens but not often as the banks generally know what they are allowed to bar and what they are not allowed to bar.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.1 -
