their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'

From what I can gather he had several large loans that he says have PPI that the bank say didn't, except he has paperwork for some of it. Then either he's left it too late to refer to the ombudsman or he's timebarred.

I had a large loan back in 2006, over 60 months, anyway in amongst other loans that I've been paid out, the bank obviously thinking I had no statement going back that far, have sent me letter saying no ppi on these 2 loans, but you are owed commission so we have paid you that, and these two bogus loans run between dates of the real loan witch I have on my statements in front of me, and this is why my bank has stopped ombudsman from looking, anyway legal team now looking at the evidence ( The case continues)-1

When I said on a earlier post that it looking like opened a can of worms, as most people don't have paperwork that far back, how many people have been told no ppi but paid commission ?? First thing you would say is oh at least I got something back, my loan is over £21000 and goes back 14 years, the refund is a large one, the commission on the two bogus loans was £360, refund is actually a few thousand so big difference-1

"Bogus" loans?

Yes I have a total of 3, all paid me commission but no ppi, I got over £600 in total of commission off them, but they are to throw you off what has really gone on, when you get the letter you don't get full details of loan, because your getting money off it its not looked at, only reason I found out was that I had no loans to match to account numbers on letters, plus if you've had a £21,500 loan you know what to expect back from it, my loan was 2006 think banks stopped ppi in March 2008, but my loan had already started 06 it ran its term complete with ppi-1

I can't believe what is happening here, but I'm going to fight it to the end, and I will win-1

Quite the opposite is the case. A Plevin refund is of commission paid with regard PPI and simply shows that your actual PPI complaint was rejected. This will have been fully explained to you in the rejection letters you received awarding you a commission refund instead. It's irrelevant finding documentary evidence that there was PPI when the Bank have already acknowledged this by refunding you the commission element of the policy. If you got a commission refund then you simply cannot have been told there was no PPI.You won't win any Ombudsman referral by stating that the loans were "bogus" I'm afraid. If you have any hope of overturning the Bank's decision, you need to counter the actual reasons the Bank gave for rejecting your complaint. Nothing you have said indicates that you have presented a convincing or valid case to the Ombudsman and it even looks like you may have left it longer than six months before presenting your "evidence"What exact reason did the Bank give for not allowing the Ombudsman to proceed? This is key.The Ombudsman may yet find in your favour, but I wouldn't be so cocksure about it.....2
