    Hi all again

Twink! Don't worry, I will be fine. I know I will be tired but so worthwhile. expecially when DGS1 phoned today to check everything in place! Wondered where you were today.

Hope Kyle OK with the boys. You have been quiet today too!

dlb - you are on a roll methinks! I am so glad the car passed its MOT. Stressful I know and you did go out of your way to rectify problem. We have decided that when I retire in 3 years, we won't run two cars. It is a huge chunk of income and really not necessary. We spent more than 20 years only running one car (plus motor bike - which we still have but an updated model!!!!!!) and tbh the insurance, tax etc is huge.

Anyway, love and hugs to all.

Just bought Power Rangers tabards and lasers to go with PR helmets DD has bought for the boys. I am gullible!!!!!!!!!!!! Yet another present! However joint so maybe we do the 'let's share' syndrome!

    Have a lovely day tomorrow.

Just had Dobbies Newsletter (I am a gardening club member). They are doing folding scooters only in the big stores for £10 each!!!!!!!!!!! Have decided (having spoken to DD) to go and get 3 tomorrow to put in the garage for when boys here. DGSs 1 and 2 totally up for the scooters now but need to do one for DGS3 too. Probably never as cheap as this! If you are near a big Dobbies - go for it!

Microwaving the bottles as I type and have decided not to put cot up until tomorrow. Boys beds sorted, mince cooked for tomorrow night and might take them to buy Knex - eldest DGS1 outgrowing the toys here so need to go to another level.

    Love and hugs

Catznine - congrats on the job
Hillstep (((hugs))) for you and your family
    Ausse - (((hugs))) for DH.

Well am cream crackered - only been in a short while from the Xmas Fete - was on the sand stall (kids fill empty plastic animals with different coloured sand) and it was very popular and very messy. Didnt get a break at all and it was sweltering in the school hall.

Meeting re business cashflow went ok but will be quite expensive so will explore other avenues first and leave it as a last option. Did manage to get the house clean and new hoover was lovely - yes Ellie I think the novelty has already worn off! but it does take half the time to do the hoovering. Loads of washing done but there will be loads tomorrow. Didnt manage to get in the office so unfortunately will be in there sometime tomorrow.

Did get some good news today - OH was called into the docs - they have found this his body is producing a bacteria which turns into kidney stones, when he has antibiotics from the docs it then breaks the stones down so thats why he hasnt passed any. He is going to be put on medication to stop this at the moment whilst they look into why his body is producing it. He will be seen very soon by a kidney specialist at our local hospital. Doc is also monitoring DD as he now beleives that she has inherited this from him & isnt suffering from another kidney condition they thought she was. Anyway basically he wont produce any more stones when he gets the medicine - no more pain and no problem with us going to Florida!!!

Anyway this has turned into quite a long post so best get off - gonna surf then chill in front of the telly.

    Hi all :hello:

I've got a week off work, then I'm in for 3 days, then 2 days off, then another week in, then off for Christmas :T :D This actually means that I only have to go into the office for 4 days before finishing for Christmas - double :T :T :D

Good start to my holidays - my cold is finally clearing up, I've been aching all over for 6 days now and have hardly slept  And me and mr tru have both reached £10 on Pigsback so I've sent off for 2 £10 Boots vouchers, and £10 has just hit my Paypal account just for having 3 banners on my website :T

    Oh happy days :j :D

  • Hi!

Just a late quickie from me. Another busy and 'unusual' week.

The poor teacher who has been in the news so much this week lives in the next road to me and we had to dodge the news crews for part of the week. Don't know why they're here as the house is being rented out to another family at the moment. I don't know her but I do remember her from various courses I've been on. I do feel sorry for her and can only hope that she gets some peace when she finally returns home.

I've been kept busy at school as the LOs are really lively at the moment. The school's xmas decs and enormous tree went up this week so I think that is hyping them up also! Anyway we managed to make 35 xmas cards this week, so we've just got the calendars, chocolate stars, angels and stockings to make! :rotfl:

This weekend we're going to put our tree up. I know it's early and we don't usually do it so soon but the next 3 weekends are booked up with DD's birthday party, church commitments, sleep-overs, orchestra concerts etc. So if we don't do it tomorrow we'll never get it up!
We've got our church Christingle service on Sunday afternoon and this is such a lovely celebration. All of the children form a human chain inside the church holding their lit Christingles with all of the lights switched off. It marks the beginning of Christmas for me and it's lovely to come home to a sc hotpot for tea! :D

Sorry I haven't been able to keep up with the thread this week so I hope that everyone is healthy and happy, otherwise BIG HUGS to those in need of one.
