:hello: Morning!
Hope you all have a great day today!
Well it is only just sinking in that I have got my old job back! I am both excited and nervous all at the same time IYKWIM and now will have to get organised. I am also amazed that I went through an interview one day after a tooth extraction! Still a bit bruised from that but hopefully I will be off the soft foods soon (living on porridge for breakfast, soup for lunches and mash for dinner at the moment).
Jackie O - good to hear from you! I still haven't started on my christmas cards yet!
Well today I start to do the last of the Christmas shopping, just odds and ends really to finish off the gifts I have already got in. Then off to the MS centre for copious amounts tea and chatting then oh's turn at the dentist, we are so lucky to have found an nhs dentist.
(((hugs)))

Good morning everyone!
Thank you for your best wishes regarding my friends' robbery. Suffice to say it wasn't quite as bad as DS had led me to believe  (he reads too many fantasy books  ) but she was in the shop on her own and was very shaken up. I'm going to go round and see her properly, later.
Happy belated Birthday to Miss Pooky :bdaycake:
Had a great day shopping with DH yesterday. Got most of it done - a few pieces still to buy from www.
DH and I are both off w*** today, so we have several household jobs to do. DD is camping this weekend (in a camping barn, luckily) so I'm baking brownies for her, plus a cake or two for us, and some hobnobs.
Off to find the duster and stardrops............
Have a great day, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Good Morning All
OH has decided against his better nature, not to write this letter for his ex wife ref the passport. All though this means he will spite himself to have some kind of access with his son.(but there was no guarantee she would agree to this anyway) He doesn't trust her not to use his signature for anything in the future! He will be seeing his dad today and get his advise. I just wish his mum would grow a back bone and support her son! I can only support OH with what ever he decides. I would love for him to see his son. After 4yrs of being, together Ive never met him! So its approaching 6yrs of no contact for him!
Cant get used to this oven, Put some oven chips in last night, they took 1 hr & 50 mins to cook!
Took advantage of the 10p listing day y-day on ebay, and listed a few more items. Think this will be my last lot now until after Xmas.
I didn't think Mark would turn up for Cery's on Im a Celebrity, she must have felt awfull.

Morning everyone :santa2:
I'm in a christmassy frame of mind today:xmassmile :xmassmile
My friend took me to a warehouse yesterday where they were selling loads of cut price items - all very money saving until you totted it all up:eek: Still, the girls enjoyed their dinner on christmas plates last night [4 for 69p:T ]
Today, I'm going to be polishing, ready for the decorations to go up on Sunday. I love putting up the :xmastree: with the girls.
My asda shop is coming this afternoon, and I've ordered 4 of their chickens @ 2 for £5, so will be bulk cooking this evening to add some ready meals to the freezer, as we are nearly out.
Well done on the weight loss to date Mrs Macawber - 1lb before christmas to reach your first target will be easily achieved.
:grouphug: HUGS :grouphug: to all who need / want one today. I'm having one last :coffee: before I try and get motivated, so will be switching off in 5mins [HONESTLY]
Have a good day everyone. Will pop back later to see what you've all been up to.:xmassmile

Morning Guys!!
MSE playing up again this morning:rolleyes:
WM is on again for the 2nd time this morning, DW has been on and emptied and toilet cleaned. House all clean and pretty tidy.
Am just wrapping 7 items that sold yesterday and have been paid for and managed to list another 20 items, so ATM have around 55 auctions running:eek:   ...I am determined to get rid of our [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] treasure:D
Have a cupboard I want to sort out later with the wrapping paper in etc and need to know what I have left. Also have a ton of stuff in there that I bought in the January sales, so need to sort them to be allocated.
Anyway, I need a cuppa and some toast. Hugs to all, especially those with problems at home ATM.

Just finished reading yesterday's thread.
Hester - what terrible news. My thoughts are with you, your colleague, and their family.
Roz V - if you're planning on leaving your job, you may want to take your employer to an Employment Tribunal for breach of contract. You can get further advice and help from ACAS or CAB. You have 3 months to submit an ET1 form.
