Dinner tonight is prawn linguine using up a pack of king prawns from the freezer and will add some roasted cherry tomatoes in there too with some cream cheese to make a "sauce".  Leftovers will be my dinner on Thursday - need something quick and easy after being in the office all day.
Appreciate saffron is an expensive addition but if you have it in, JOs 15 minute king prawn linguini is very nice and uses mostly store cupboard stuff. We have it semi regularly

1 bulb of fennel and 3 satsumas used for a salad along size freezer basa fillet and cous cous. Very very tasty but I am now starving!

Tonight was remains of pork for himself first eaten Sunday now turned into a casserole. I had remains of a chicken first eaten Friday, then as sandwiches over the weekend so today I turned all the bones into stock, added the scraps of chicken and some veg and called it soup, quite tasty and not bad for a chicken costing under £3.
Dessert was clotted cream ice-cream with a blackcurrant sauce. I call it a sauce not a coulis, one of the hairy bilkers Christmas recipes, supposed to be a sorbet but I defrosted it completely - date on the package was 31/10/21 so it's time it was eaten.

Making a big batch of chilli this evening to have some for now and some for the freezer.  Was going to have it with rice but might actually have it with a jacket potato instead as we have some pretty big potatoes in the bag this week.  Finished up some mango and papaya that was in the freezer with some yogurt for breakfast this morning and lunch is the last of the Indian Masala Carrots in the fridge.

Used up a bit of the gammon I cooked on Sunday in an Omelette for breakfast this morning, along with the last spring onion & a couple of chopped up cherry tomatoes.  Very tasty it was too.

Lunch today will be a gammon and cheese toastie with lots of tiny silver skin pickled onions and some pickled beetroot; so everything from stores/fridge.

For dinner tonight I'm going to make a homity pie and serve with the last of the cabbage, some frozen green beans and petit pois.  Again everything from stores/fridge/freezer.

The fridge is emptying nicely!  If anything is left when we go away then it will just go in the cool box to take with us as we are self catering.  I'm also planning on taking a couple of frozen meals for the first couple of evening meals.

We've got a pack of noodles and veg to stir-fry tonight, that came in my TGTG bag. It's the first time I've had a "ready-meal" It will need eating this evening. I was hoping for more veg but will make do until Friday when the market is on in the nearest town.

Thai curry tonight, using up mange tout, green beans, green peppers, spring onion… very Thai green curry indeed. This is all from the fridge, along with some chicken from the freezer. I’ve got our chicken breast but I might actually use that tomorrow and instead get out some precooked chicken and maybe add some prawns to liven it up a bit!

This evening will use up the salad and an opened pack of chipolatas with eggs (as we still have them coming out of our ears)

Picked up some salad off Olio last night and the woman asked if I could use any more - yes happy to take it for the chickens.  Got two boxes of rocket so am going to try making pesto with some for the freezer before I feed it all to the birds.

Also got Parsley left over from Olio collection so will be making a tub of tabbouleh to snack on now I have some bulghur wheat.  Mind you last time I made it with giant wholewheat couscous because I didn't have bulghur wheat and that was pretty good too.
