Yes that's right. I even offered at that time yo pay only 1 month of charge £27 even though no service. But they refused. Trying to get money from me.

No it's not because when they transferred the service they didn't send me a new router or offered me the choice. So they should have continued my contract to new place. I was forced to move.0

Suggest you contact a solicitor or let BW take you to court and trash your credit record for 6 years .Pointless asking this forum as you have very fixed view that you are right and the law is wrong .0

I am not going to argue with you when you clearly didn't read all posts on this thread.
Like been told on the previous posts they cant take me to court if they have inaccurate facts. I will request SAR plus have evidences.
A legitimate claim must be based on true facts not lies.
I dont think anyone will go continuing paying for a service if that service is not there anymore.

These aren't detrimental comments, just trying to present a balanced view. Nobody on here has a clear understanding of what exactly happened, you are not conveying very much detail. Perhaps the SAR will provide the evidence you need, or perhaps you already have evidence as you have suggested,in which case you may have confidence that you will win. As I mentioned before, just don't discount the possibility that you could be in the wrong, or unable to demonstrate that you are right. It seems that you have exited a contract without agreement from the other party so would need to be able to demonstrate why that was a reasonable action.

I think @JJ_Egan is probably correct. From TT's perspective,
- you moved house (it doesn't matter to them if you chose or was forced to move),
- the minimum contract period was reset,
- TT connected your line to their telecom network,
- you cancelled the new contract before the end of the minimum term, so
- now you have to pay for the entire contract. You won't pay, so
- the contract debt is sent to a debt collector.
There might be an argument that you weren't told of the new contract (although renewal is almost standard when moving house). You will find out if that's a possibility when you get your SAR results back.The best time to argue your connection issues was when you were talking with the technical team. Did the connection work at all? Some posts suggest it was working, but slow, and in others you say it didn't work at all. If it was working, then TT were providing the contracted service, and the T&Cs apply, including the expensive early exit charge.1 -
