A long-player party : is that referring to records? 33rpm ones? Please let me know!

mothernerd can you photograph the letter (on your phone if you have a smartphone) for your copy? Well done on getting it finished.

Yes apple but long-playing records were actually 33 and a third revolutions per minute (rpm). My ex had his shortly after we met. Thanks for the suggestion PurpleFairy but I changed to a simple big buttons for older people one. It does take photos but don't use it for that and no way of uploading it. It's nearly done now and no pressure as there are no collections until Monday. Very high pollen today so am reluctant to go outside - have had water, juice and soup for my throat. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage2

Afternoon lovely Turtle-friendsI have been out and done the food shopping, and bought treats for step-gran (who does not believe in snacking between meals or eating chocolate, but suddenly need extra supplies of Crunchie bars, chocolate cranberries, pringles and fry's bars sending to her now she cannot get out and buy them on the qt). Wrote her a letter old fashioned style and bunged in a copy of a photo of all my menfolk from a February birthday celebration meal out. Give her something to look at while munching chocolate and reading the tv magazine that I sent her. Being housebound must suck, but not having your 70+ year old granny ma-f-ia fiends to get you things and to go and terrorize the local supermarket must make it even worse. Anyway, she should get them on Monday so that is my good deed for the day and now I can concentrate on being evil for the rest of the weekend.Made some money on p/a and sent it to my bank account already. yay!Descaled the kettle and forgot to tell anyone - it turns pink in water, so they should have noticed, but I had a scary moment when I came back and realised I had not told them - I did balance the bottle on top of the kettle lid, so it was kind of signposted, but in reality I could have killed them all. I wish they would get up in the morning at a decent time. I can't hang about waiting for them to get up before doing my jobs. Nothing would get done!Toenails painted electric blue and the sun is shining. I am annoyed by the birds who felt it reasonable to start twitting at 4.15 this morning. It is antisocial and quite frankly just not cricket.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Evening all
I've had a strange couple of days. My mood is all over the place and I'm trying to stay normal and do my thing without panicking too much, but the truth is that the financial stresses are starting to get to me a bit. Even though we've been locked down for a month now I have still run out of money. I know exactly where it's gone, and it's a combination of increased vet bills and increased food spends. However, I've spent way less than I normally would on fuel, and there's been no school lunch spends. I'm still stressing over things I can't control (the exams being cancelled). But I have a budget and I am keeping an eye on it which is half the problem sorted - being aware. I just hate not being able to control some things.
Still walking every day, which is better for my mental and physical health, and making sure I stay in touch with people regularly to try and keep my mental health on track. I've been enjoying a bit of time in the garden - not gardening, but spending time with the kids and cats and getting a bit of sun.
Today I'm grateful for - managing a walk with ds and staying out of people's way (there are definitely more people and cars out and about), having a garden, the cats entertaining me in the sun, (re)learning French and German on Du0lingo and still having a job in spite of the current situation.
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Evening everyone
NSD 16/15
I’ve beaten my NSD target. Hardly surprising!
Dug out our old wii fit board and had a go, great fun & a bit of exercise followed by homemade lemon drizzle cake and disastrous flapjack!!
We all did our own thing today which was nice. Nothing that had to be done so lovely day.I’m loving sitting in our conservatory with the radio on, wasting time on social media or reading the paper online. Something I will do as my time when this is over.
Just been for a walk. Our local chip shop has reopened so lots of people heading that way! Will change our route tomorrow.Lightbulb moment - 17/08/2017 £17,033. Current CC debt £0.00 DFD 31/7/24 🥳. Member #8 of Fiver Friday Challenge £175/£2607 -
Today I am grateful for dd arranging to zoom her friends, for dh playing some badminton with dd, for discovering the pottery throw down series on t'box, for keeping off my laptop all day (it is where I access my work emails, and our head sent us an email on thurs telling/suggesting we all stop sending emails on fri 4.30 until mon morning), for dd planting up some seeds, for dh doing a food shop, for updating the spending receipts for the last few weeks, for being well, and especially for my dad not being around anymore and having to cope with all of this.

Saturday- not checked in for a few days, not for any reason but just somehow not found the time or motivation or something! All days continue the same, some schoolwork for DD, some pottering in the garden, a long walk or couch to 5k run/walk and a never ending requirement to provide meals!
Thursday and Friday were both NSDs so up to 16, today was a spend day as we needed milk and bread (and chocolate 😂).
Gratitudes- another long walk in the sunshine, another book read, chats with neighbours (from a distance), the local shop having essential chocolate supplies, carrots starting to grow.9 -
Thankful for sunshine (although working in the garden means I'm now rather pink....), getting 2 table tops sanded, cleaned and oiled, DH cleaning and treating the decking, more seedlings popping up, probate for my Nan arriving, family game after dinner, DS1 mowing the front lawns.I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £208
