Tuesday- still on NSD 13, did a "big" shop today. Am still working on reducing the stock of random bits in the cupboard, but theres only so long I can manage a fussy DD without replenishing stocks of what she eats- I think at the moment she is averaging 3 apples a day!
School is back on, and the teachers were definitely easing us in before the holidays- lots more work appeared today for the week, but they have said they will add more daily so we had best aim for a better routine!
Gratitudes- sunshine, plants starting to appear from seeds, shops being fully stocked, catch up phone calls, DD happily going "back to school"- even if she was still in her jammies.6 -
Another NSD today. Won't be tomorrow as need to do food shop. Technology has not been my friend today - spent ages trying to amend a work document but failed; my in-house technical advisers (young people) couldn't do it either; then my emails for my PT job wouldn't update and i downloaded support which didn't work either - arghhh! Had nice walk this evening with DDs.
Gratitudes - relaxing walk & chat with DDs; hot water bottles; DDs getting on well with each other; patience of PT colleague helping me with tech issues

A hard decision to come to, I'm sure, mothernerd.
Yesterday wasn't NSD - went to big supermarket (Mr Azda) over the other side of the city whilst eldest 2 were giving blood and then to Icyland on the way back home for things we prefer from there
Thankful for: a different supermarket - just seeing different things made me happier!, my fab children being both willing and able to give blood, pretty fairy & stake solar lights, more seeds to sow, a walk last night and feeding the ducks on the canal, DS3's school phoning to check in on everyone

Hi all, no more NSD's for me, yesterday I found a cover for a chair in LO bedroom (we got a high backed armchair secondhand for her room when she was born, so we could be comfy if we had to feed or comfort her but the pattern is very ugly), we did try just throwing a sheet over it originally but it kept shifting, or just being wrinkled and uncomfortable. My work had an email about doing a survey for an Am@zon voucher, my colleagues said I could do and use for LO. Promised them biscuits with part of it when back at work and then bought LO some books as no library at the moment (not counting as a NSD as I spent over the proportion for her books so will make it back with own money). Tried to make naan bread yesterday but they were both raw and burnt
so will sprinkle up for birds tomorrow, so LO can watch them through the window (she loves birds)
Grateful for colleagues nominating me to do the survey and get the voucher, having back up naan in the freezer for yesterday and for finishing Dracula and getting to tick it off my reading challenges9 -
Today I am grateful for dh doing the food shop as I still can't drive, for feeling more on top of my sch work, for having a plan to re-jig sch work next week, for time with dd, for the pottery thrown down programme on tv, for time in the garden, for finding half a bag of compost and planting up some very old seeds, for adapting a workout so that I could do it, for good coffee, for sunshine and having the back door open, for drying the washing on the climbing frame.
