They appear to have updated their refund form
It now states "Once the online refund request is processed, it will be applied to all flights on the booking, excluding any flights that have already been flown." whereas previously it only appeared to refund the actual cancelled flight and you needed to phone if you wanted both flights refunded (the cancelled and the non-cancelled one booked at same time)

  • Hi. Close to losing it with easyjet. Our original flights from Bristol to Palma x 4 were cancelled and we were placed on new flights but they didn’t work for us so we requested a refund. They emailed three weeks ago to say that the refund was being processed, but then last night sent another message to say he refund was declined because our flight departed as normal. It certainly didn’t as I’ve checked the flight departures and only the new flight we were put on departed. I can’t get through on their phone line and feel like we’re being strung along. Would expect this from Ryanair but feel Easyjet are treating loyal customers woefully. Any advice please?

@Parkroader This sounds like same email I got from Easyjet. Its shows money in the account on 12/8/2020 (on their statement)  but no money arrived, then the next day I had an email to say the money would come within 10 days. So I was going to do a Charge back with my bank, but they have delays of 20 days currently. But if my refund has not arrived by 21st Aug, I will start the charge back process, even if it does take 20 days. @Parkroader sounds like you need to do Charge back.
    All the best!

I have flights booked for a trip to Iceland at the end of October, Iceland now have a compulsory isolation order of 4 or 5 days when you land, plus two tests for Covid. We have hotels booked at opposite ends of Iceland for the 7 day holiday, travel is prohibited between towns so isolating is difficult. Upto now the flights are still going ahead, does anyone know what my options are with Easyjet, I've looked at changing the flights to next October but the schedule is not available. Would Easyjet refund our booking or would I have to take vouchers? Many Thanks for reading, need to get back to work so cant read all of this thread!! Is there an email address for customer services? cant find one on the website

Well after nearly 6 months, I finally have a full refund for my April flights! I ended up tweeting easyJet and they almost immediately sent me a DM. I was then told to expect a refund in the next 3-5 days. A couple of days later the £20 seat booking fee was refunded, which wasn't quite what I'd hoped for. However, 3 weeks later, after a bit more tweeting, the full refund has now appeared on my account. Strangely the transaction date is 3 weeks ago, so not entirely sure why, but whatever, it looks like Twitter is worth trying if you haven't already done so.
  • My flight was cancelled earlier this year and I immediately applied for a refund.  Upon completing the application I received the following email:

    Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting us and for submitting a refund request.

We are working hard to process your request as quickly as possible. Due to the exceptionally high volumes currently being processed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, we will try our best to complete your request within 28 days following submission. Please do not contact us regarding a previous request unless it has been more than 90 days since you made your original submission.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

    Kind regards,

    easyJet Customer Services

It is now past 90 days so I attempted to chase them up but the reference ID comes up as 'there are no claims for this ID'.  I have tried ringing customer services but there is not answer and it rings off.  Does anyone know how I can chase this up please?

Assuming you paid by card you could lodge a claim with your card issuer who will probably refund you fairly quickly.

Raise a chargeback via your card provider but do so quickly, you only have another few days to do so (120 days from booked travel date).
