Easyjet cancellations and refunds

I managed to find a form to raise a request for refund online.
Still, it seems that an email from 30-March where I was querying what would happen if hte flight would be cancelled, did the trick. I have been told a full refund will be made in 3-5 working days.
I believe these delays are not an attempt to not refund, they are doing it when people do not want vouchers. It just takes time to process.0 -
Maybe only a few days ahead of the outbound......0

mi3rebus said:can anybody help me - im trying to call 0161 774 9879 from Australia, is there a code that i need to put in? I tried calling this number and it wont go through. Perhaps a code or international code that i need to dial first.

They're making it hard to get a voucher as well.
I had a return flight Brum to Glasgow booked for the weekend. They cancelled the outgoing leg last week, so I went to "Manage Booking" to request a voucher, which arrived promptly.
Now they've cancelled the return leg as expected, but when you go to "Manage Booking" it says it cannot do it as it's already been done. Of course it has, as the flights were booked together and thus both flights come under the same booking number.
I'm assuming it'll arrive automatically as I don't fancy that phone queue!0 -
Hi all. I found this thread last week when I was starting to panic about my Easyjet bookings - two separate flights, one of 16 people, one of 15 (so a fair bit of cash to get back) - that had both been cancelled and thought it worthwhile sharing my experience.
I'd tried ringing and gotten to the point of giving up on contacting them that way, I'd tried the "manage my disruption" option on the website etc and not had any joy or heard anything from them since requesting a refund that way.
Anyway, on Saturday I decided that I would give the 'phone lines another try. After 14 attempts, I got through and then waited for about 40 minutes before the phone was answered. Annoyingly I was half way through giving the adviser the info when my phone cut out (I'm hoping it was my phone and not them hanging up on me)! So, I was back to square one....
This morning I tried again. It took 10 attempts before it got through, but I was only in the queue for 4 minutes before someone answered. I gave them all of my details and they've processed the refunds. I received email confirmation about 2 hours later.
Hopefully all sorted. My only advice is ... don't give up.... keep on trying that 'phone number

I call on Saturday - 180 attempts to get in the queue but then only 2 minutes wait to be answered. No hassles, just gave my booking ref and asked for refund. Told I would get a confirmation email and refund would be 3-5 working days. I didn't get a confirmation email which was somewhat worrying, but my booking was removed from "Manage Bookings" so kept my fingers crossed. However, I checked my credit card statement online today and refund was put through the SAME DAY. Fairly pleased, yes they are making it difficult to get refunds - if everyone took that option they would probably go bust and I'm sure most of us will want Easyjet back in our lives one day (soon hopefully).0

Successfully moved my trip from April to December with Easyjet for only an extra £12pp on the outbound flight, very happy with that as not losing a holiday and nor do I have to spend hours on the phone.0

MOved my flights from last Saturday to late August a couple of weeks ago. I'm assuming that I'll have to move them again though as its unlikely it will be back to normal by then

I have requested a refund on my Easyjet flights which are now cancelled. For over 3 weeks my Easyjet account shows 'refund being processed' but I have heard nothing from them. Is anyone experiencing the same and if so, could you shed any light as to what Easyjet are doing about refunds. Many thanks0

There is a huge ongoing thread about Easyjet, did you look there first?0
