Evening all ,
So much for me getting back into putting up a list! Its been another day of fighting fires - coping with us all in the house, trying to work, do school work, clear up, exercise and not drive each other mad!! Around 10am it was full on melt down as dh was mid-conference call when ds2 (who was meant to be doing some written work at the time) decided to download a game to his pc-which led to dh getting cut off his call so grumpy heads all around!!
In the way of small things
* leftovers for tea - fishpie, veg and mash
* shared the last 3 rashers of bacon between the 4 of us with some eggs for a breakfast butty
* shared bath water
* went to aldee which was surprisingly quiet at 11am, we've hardly been out to the shops for the last two weeks after seeing all the news reports so was pleasantly surprised to get all I wanted with the exception of tinned tomatoes.
* checked banking/updated spreadsheet
* checked the fruit bowl and stewed a couple of bruised apples.
THats about it for me.
Trying- well done on the £1000 gone!Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Morning folks!
OH went to pick up the elec drum kit yesterday from the music school and it looks like a lot of the pupils are interested in at least trialling home lessons so fingers crossed. Also, UC have scheduled a call with him so no more hanging round on the phone on hold.
Things to be grateful for today:A sunny walk before work. Only saw one other person (dog walker) and we both practised appropriate spacing
My b-i-l left some milk out on his step for us as he was in the supermarket. Outside of jug washed down straight away.
It's my "Friday"
Difficult work task finally working (no idea why it didn't work the first time)
Small things today:B/L/D from stores.
Try to get heart rate down and untense stomach as it's making it sore- started my check in with my staff by askin them for a piece of good news each. Really cheered us all up actually
Clear my desk at the end of the day so the spare room isn't totally "work"
Beeswax utility room shelves at lunchtime. Nearly choked us both with the turps last night
Check washing bin to see if a wash needs doing - not really but will do a white wash. Out on the line now.
Crochet later unless I'm too tired
Added 3 yogurt pot codes to account - done
Flushed loo with saved water - done
Watered chilli plants - done
Have a good one all

Morning allLovely day again today. Walked dog early before there was anyone about much. OH can do the afternoon one for his bit of exercise. Speaking of which, I have prised OH out of his workshop to help me give the conservatory a good clean today. Conservatory is probably too loose (and posh) a term for a small concrete and glass box with a perspex roof, but it is a useful space for storage, boots and the larger freezer, and it is mucky and needs a good declutter. Wish me luck! Still need to clean the kitchen window, which I didn't get to yesterday. If nothing else, at least the house will be clean. Also plan to make a loaf in the BM, and a spinach and feta pie for dinner. Steadily working through the freezer contents to avoid going shopping for as long as possible. Delivery slots are impossible to get around here, I am continually trying the sites of the 4 supermarkets I have accounts with, but no joy at all - even the milkman's web site is crashed, although the milk turned up ok on Monday. Might try and phone them later to get some items added to my next delivery, but not holding my breath!Stay safe everyone.4

Morning everyone
Is anyone else having trouble with the forum? Im finding that i have to reset my password everytime i want to come on.
Well done trailing
i thought asking ur staff each for a good piece of news was a great idea CLF
i hope everything got sorted okay 1LL and the grumpiness went! It must be hard though. I think me and DD would have killed each other by now!
- banking all checked, everything good
- quidco checked
- have been rationing myself to one episode of Midsommer murders everyday
- making use of use ups. Had some fresh cauliflower left and used up with fishfinger and chips last night. It was different but very nice
- went out yesterday to pick up further district nurse supplies. Counted it as my one trip out of exercise. Has to queue but it was so nice out, lovely breeze and everyone was practicing large spaces of social distancing, and being respectful which was lovely. There was one lady with a young child who saw the queue and kicked off but considering the chemist were operating a one in one out policy it moved very quick.
Supplies were missing and they were not taking repeat prescriptions but the chemist has a very inexperienced assistant who unfortunately kept having to be told to practice social distancing and kept giving out wrong info.
Found out from a friend who went in before me that i needed to ring the repeat into the chemist and not the doctors (that the assistant had told me) which i did when back in the car and thanked them for their work as they have been dealing with some big queues of people and i imagine some people kicking off with them.
- gave my donation of toilet rolls to friend as she needed some for her elderly people she looks after. Will pop another pack in the car for anyone who needs.
- not getting everything done that i want to. Have gone into sloth mode but def plan to dust and hoover upstairs today. Also want to work on another shoebox, i dont know why but i find they are a stress relief and keep my mind occupied.

@Happy_Kitties Thank you, yes much less grumpy this morning but I made a point of getting some exercise done for myself before everyone else was up which really helped
Todays list
* check banking /update spreadsheet
* check fridge/fruit bowl to make sure nothing will go to waste
