You could try a Chargeback against Paypal for breaking their T&Cs

well! This morning I woke up to my resolution being awarded in my favour by PayPal and a full refund in respect of my transaction with Resort Hoppa! Happy days!0

I would go back to them on chat and ask them to reconsider based on the fact you know of other refunds - happy to send you ids to quote0

I choose item not received - I wrote the below and followed it up stating that I purchased a dated service not a open dated voucher - I did not have to provide any other evidence - good luck all, happy for you to use my reference to sway decisions to ensure consistency from PayPal if needed PP-D-63662070Your notes
I booked an airport transfer for my holiday in Portugal, resort hoppa have cancelled this due to the covid situation but will not offer a refund only credits to use in the future - limited time, as an nhs worker I cannot commit to annual leave and need this refund back now, I don’t want a credit, the service has not been provided and I may not book again for some years (my partner has severe respiratory issues) I have emailed and offered them the opportunity to resolve but they are saying their business will fold so they cannot offer a refund, unfortunately this is not my fault, I have paid with cash for a service not received and would like a refund

Your notesHi I have requested a refund in full for the transfer for a holiday cancelled by Hoppa, they have stated that they have issued credit notes and that no refund will be offered or their company will go bust, unfortunately this is not my problem, I am unable to use the credit note within the timescale provided and original terms and conditions stated that if they cancel a full refund will be issued - they have since changed this. I have requested many times a refund and explained why I am unable to use a credit note in the future but they keep giving me a standard response that no refund will be issued - this isn’t fair, the service has not been provided, they cancelled and their terms and conditions and the point of booking stated if this is the case I will receive a refund

How about members of the party have respiratory problems and you will be unable to make use of the credit note and that you are aware of inconsistencies due to my case being upheld0
