Hi any update on this. I too am getting the narrative re a credit note. Is that legal
can they simply only give a credit. Surely we are entitled to a refund? Thanks.
    No it's not legal
If you  paid for a service that hasn't been provided, a full refund is due if they have cancelled.

Joecarter999 I received an email from PayPal today regarding my claim re hoppa transfer being cancelled and because hoppa have issued a credit voucher PayPal are saying I have had the goods or service so the case is now closed. I am absolutely livid but am struggling to appeal the decision.

PayPal are not on our side regarding the credit vouchers that Hoppa are issuing. My email today stated they are going in favour of Hoppa because they have delivered the goods or service!! The date of the transfer is 19th May so how can the service have been delivered?
i am so disappointed in PayPal. Hoppas terms and conditions stated ‘free cancellations’ when I booked in January. By March when I wanted to cancel, t&cs stated £1 per person cancellation fee and a few days later t&cs had changed again to say they are issuing hoppa credit. I didn’t know a company were allowed to keep changing the t&cs constantly to suit their situation.

    I would be too.
You paid for a trip and was given a voucher.
That would mean that anything you bought instead of a refund they could just give you a voucher and that's OK?
    That's just insane.

I am really frustrated with Hoppa and their responses. I am sure everyone has already but if not fill our the CMA form to report Hoppa (form on MSE under CMA)
Also get an email off to bbc watchdog The more people that complain about this company the more chance we have of a refund. We are only asking this company to honour their own terms nothing more. They are really getting some negative reviews on UK trust pilot

I also did a paypal claim against hoppa which got denied. When you look at paypal's terms and conditions, travel tickets are covered, yet they denied my claim because they said it went against their terms and conditions !!!!

I have used Hoppa many times before and have always been happy with their service but certainly not this time. I, too, do not want vouchers and want a refund but it looks like this is very unlikely to happen. Has anyone been sent their vouchers from Hoppa, as have not received those either?
