Yes it could get bad. It's things like the following that depress me more than the stockmarket drop:

There is no issue with the food supply. In fact once every one has stocked up in panic things should calm down once people realise, there is no issue with the food supply.0

Factories are geared for a certain level of demand/production. Impossible for the machines to produce more. People unselfishly stock piling is the real problem.EdGasketTheSecond said:

No they are saying there aren't the workers (still working) to keep supplies coming through
