It's not as if it's Ebola and when the President is actively encouraging this sort of action there should be no surprise that Musk has done this.
As clever as Musk & co are. They seem oblivious to the real threat to people from the virus. Concerning in itself.1 -

Time will tell if Musk has called this well from epidemiological, political and business viewpoints.I think he has on the first two and I really doubt that, net, Tesla will lose a single sale. It couldn't happen here of course where success is a bit dirty.1 -

See Space X lost yet another prototype today. Hopefully getting to Mars won't prove to be Musk's achilles heel.

Hopefully getting to Mars won't prove to be Musk's achilles heel. You mean the Starship SN4, doing it's 5th static fire test. That's what happens when you're testing, SN5 will benefit from it.I'm sure you remember the NASA failures in the 60's and the tragedy of Apollo 1 (they really should have done that test unmanned).Virgin Galactic failed last week too.SpaceX has had many failures as has Blue Origin, they are expected, it's normal.SpaceX will probably fail completely if loss of life happens, maybe(?)If SpaceX can get humans to Mars within the next 10 years then I'd be very surprised but I wouldn't bet against it.I think humans will get to other planets but I understand many people don't see the point.Hopefully the SpaceX Demo-2 lifts off without loss of life this week.SpaceX will be a cash cow IMHO and it's good to see that you can part invest in that company via 'Baillie Gifford US Growth - symbol: USA'.Maybe a full stock market listing is not too far away and Elon will overtake JeffHave you got a downer on everything Elon Musk is involved with? Are you going to bring up the failures in the Boring Company and Neuralink. One person caring about another represents life's greatest value.1 -
