Tesla shares must be fully valued now.  Volatility will continue for the foreseeable future, and some lucky investors will make big gains, and lots will suffer big losses.

I very much doubt there is any long term upside from now on.
I wouldn't be surprised if people had been saying the very same thing for quite a while. Tesla is an exciting company with many good things planned for the future (Battery day, Cybertruck, Semi, 2020 Roadster, new factories opening...) These things combined could work to push the share price up further.

I'm a Tesla Bull. But the stock has gone too far too soon. Anything can happen in the next few years to set it back, either the company itself making missteps, the world economy tanking, or Elon leaving to join a cult. I wouldn't be buying at these levels, but I ain't selling either.

Making announcements is one thing. Turning that into a high level of profits is another.

Yep. Will it be a soft landing, or a fireball ?  I'm betting on the former, not selling.

Bought 4 from April 2018 - May 2019, £200 average, knowing it was already overvalued, but a. I like the management b. they're trying to create genuine human value c. I want one and d. all my serious money is in index funds, originally planning to hodl like there's no tomorrodl. To date this is the most irresponsible financial decision I've made.
Sold one earlier this year when the price got so ridiculous that the profit paid for the other 3, so at worst I'd made 0%.
Then the price departed the realm of economic sanity.
So, begrudgingly, I forced myself to sell one more, at worst I've made ~£1,100 cash "profit".
Why can't people just leave it alone?

The chat in the WSJ a while back is that Starlink will be spun off first, before SpaceX goes public. Interesting times when that    happens. Happy to hold at the moment via SMT.

    Total - £340.00

    wins : £7.50 Virgin Vouchers, Nikon Coolpixs S550 x 2, I-Tunes Vouchers, £5 Esprit Voucher, Big Snap 2 (x2), Alaska Seafood book

LOL. I bought 4 last week for a quick buck, if they pop to $2k I'll sell those.
I'm keeping the rest until maybe $2.5k-$5k each.
And I would definitely buy into SpaceX / Starlink.
