    Anybody received their refund?
Mine is due next week. We shall see.
    Just received this notification:
Thank you for your patience during this difficult time.
We are pleased to confirm that we have paid £xxxx.xx back on to your original method of payment.
You should see the money reach your account within 3-5 working days.
When the world opens up and you’re ready to book your next holiday, we hope to see you again.
    Kind regards,
    The Travel Republic Team

It has taken seven weeks to the day but we got there.
Funds are yet to appear in my account but I expect them to be available in time to pay the balance on another holiday scheduled for mid-June which clearly won't happen. Thereafter we can begin the whole process all over again!
  • Yes we have received the same email.. This has been conducted with no telephone calls or emails from myself.. It may have taken longer than 14 days but that is understandable with the volume to refund. Credit where credit is due and I know who I will be using to book in future.

References:  ACM/19373026 and ACM/19375112 were not cancelled. As your 5 bookings on the system are not linked together the following bookings have regrettably been cancelled as they did not have any correspondence on them: ACM/19375121 . ACM/19375931 and ACM/19376198.
TR sent me 2 emails to say holidays 026 and 112 were cancelled.  I have saved the emails
I received this email today to say they were not cancelled, and will not be getting a refund.
    Don't know what's going on.
There was no reply option on the message I received today so don't know how to contact them.

They have just send me another email.
Travel Republic - ACM/19373026 - Customer Satisfaction Survey
Please follow the link below to rate your overall level of customer service with our service.
For the email they sent yesterday telling me they had not cancelled 2 holidays, which they did.
When I click onto the link, all I am getting is.
Booking 19373026 does not belong to your account.
Surely there is something not right here.
I have managed today to contact them and sent the 2 emails they sent which said we are sorry but we have cancelled your booking.

Full refund of all money held by Travel Republic including theme park tickets received into my bank today. In view of the situation, I consider this to be outstanding service in what must have been very novel and trying circumstances. Considering the braoder aspect of the customer base and not the individual needs, I don't see what else they could have done, Travel Republic have acted honourably, and in my opinion, upheld their reputation. I hope that the company prosper in these "New Normal" days.

We received our £6804 refund back onto our credit card - I am thankful as I wasn't sure we would get a refund
our package holiday was  a once in a lifetime trip to Australia for a wedding- which has now been rescheduled for January 2021 - however we won't be booking as the Prime Minister of Australia is still limiting travel visas for exceptional compassionate grounds only - which we can't claim, so probably can't gain a visa to enter  - so a voucher would have been completely useless to us.
Still waiting for a couple of charge backs for seat reservations from the same holiday with Singapore Air mind you! so thats £157 were waiting for and also £669  for a bridge climb in Sydney - so still quite a bit out of pocket

  • Hello
Just wondering after numerous Service Requests etc contact through Facebook. I still have no refund for a 30th Anniversary package holiday that was due to go on 29th March. According to their website all Refunds have been paid or issued. This seems wierd as I have had neither. Although if I log into my account the car hire portion of the package says refund complete 26th April. I have had nothing so what's the problem with Travel Republic. I have used them many times and hope to again. Maybe this is a glitch and I have been overlooked. Holding my breath as I prefer not to involve the credit card company as something tells me I would get the same runaround.
