I too have had another email from TR. Slightly changed from the last one … if it’s a package holiday then a credit note will be issued. If accommodation only (which mine was) it says “As we are acting as an agent on your behalf, we will endeavour to obtain a refund from the supplier and we will be in touch with next steps. Given the enormity of the situation, this process will take longer than normal and we appreciate your patience during this time.“ so not even the promise of a credit note? Wondering whether to try claiming on insurance yet or wait for next steps from TR.
Did you have any luck with your insurance company ? My insurance company says I must try to get refund off travelrepublic first .... then contact them showing I have tried and they have refused me .
