Hi all
Busy day. Made myself get the kettlebells out and do 30 minutes, it is shocking how much strength I have lost whilst being caught up in looking after DS (who is grumpy but perhaps that means he is feeling a bit better). DS2 is coming home tomorrow so it will be a 3 hour round trip to get him but I will be so glad to have him home. Used up a butternut squash and some other veg and lentils to make a curry and a veg stew, so thats 4 meals for me. Going to run the hoover around upstairs in the morning. Washed some of my work stuff - although I wont be needing smart office clothes for a while! DH getting read to sow seeds and we are making plans for what we will grow in our veg boxes. Fire lit and feet up now, might treat myself to a little g&T in a while.9 -
We have enough food for about a month now.. just fresh stuff I need to buy daily.. OH brought home a few hundred pounds worth of food.
We've been to pick Meem up so Percy is a happy cat.
OH has work tomorrow and Monday for deep cleaning purposes. He has applied for 19 tesco jobs and one at a factory cleaning and prepping workwear for NHS workers.. Front line contamination if the bugs creep over here... DIL works there already.
I've got lots of drugs for my plague riddled self, however OH has left them in the car so I am still having pain in my throat.

Morning all,
I went to bed with a headache and have woken up with one too, very annoying. It's a beautiful day here, we will get out on a bike ride soon. The birds are singing away which is so good for the soul. If you block out the whinging from DS 😒, honestly since he turned 6 he's bene horrid, and I don't say that lightly, nothing makes him happy, he is always winding his sister up, he slams doors... he's had a lot to cope with but it's really getting me down now. Anyway, I digress.
Brekkie time x8 -
Morning xx
I have absolutely no idea if this is allowed, and also absolutely no idea how to make the photo into a link - if that is even possible! But we live in strange times, and this photo never fails to make me smile. I hope it made you smile too. I made a lot of mistakes in life - but I got one thing right :-) For years this young man was the only reason I got up each morning and carried on. How he turned out so normal is totally beyond me. Friends, meet DS.
Flying related? - I washed the hoodie that he's wearing.
Happy Mothering Sunday to you all

Sorry round, can’t see the photo, but it may be the iPad!Happy Mother’s Day to all xx
Flying... nothing done yet but I’m showered and dressed, it’s a sunny day so I’m going to try and put worries away and have an enjoyable day.Back later xx7 -
Round, I can see the photo and it's lovely. I've just opened the presents that DD left in the porch two days ago. Lots of lovely thoughtful goodies and we're going to watch the same film at the same time later today. DS is dropping his round later on his way to paid stuff and that will be quarantined too! I feel very lucky. Restricted to just dog walking (and playing, training and grooming) but it is the most beautiful sunny day and from my seat in the living room I have a glorious view of the garden with an abundance of flowers and birds.
Flying wise today, I have s&sd the kitchen and bathrooms. Dog walk is next.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
BadCat - here's me feeling like a tech-wizard (not) and I'm probably the only person that can see the photo
I'm washed and dressed, breakfast is eaten, birds are fed, recycling is out. Oh and bed is made.

ETA I wrote this before I saw Jazee's comment. Thank you Jazee xx
Posts keep appearing that weren't there before - most discombobulating!

The dogs refused to budge off the drive way so they're either having another lazy day or listening to the advice to stay at home. I'm going to put the recycling out for collection, feed the birds then cut the grass again, a bit shorter this time.Spend less now, work less later.9
