Morning all. What a lovely sunny day.
Piggers, all the supermarkets are looking for extra staff to fill shelves. You've also reminded me to cancel the sports off the telly package.
And I think I need to get my car in for MOT sooner rather than later as I can't risk it being off road in case DH needs it as he's a key worker.
Today will be dog walking, jobs around the house and gardening.
Have the bestest kind of great day you can folks.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Morning all
it does look like it’s going to be a lovely day. DH is on duty so may end up working but fingers crossed it will remain quiet. Washing, garden jobs , some baking are on my list today. I have to do a little work on a presentation for next week but will do that tomorrow I think.
have the best day you can all, take care, stay safe and well xx7 -
Hi all
Pigpen nothing to say except I am thinking of you. Woke up at 3am wide awake, got up at 5.15am and have been sorting laundry and cleaning the kitchen. DS1 is low on neutrophils and platelets. He is very very vulnerable to infection and has had two platelet and two blood transfusions in hospital this week. DS2 needs to get home asap, he is scared about bringing the virus home to DS1 but we have taken medical advice and he just needs to isolate for 7 days, if he can get home in the next week. I am stupidly worried about getting food and supplies, even though we have some food in and our local farm shop has stock and is delivering. Oh and dear BILs cancer has returned and he is not going to be with us for much longer. On the positive DH and I can carry on working and even though we will soon have 4 people living on two wages we are better off than many. Mind you, disappearing to Narnia sounds very tempting right now. Stay safe everyone, hope you are getting better Round, much love to anyone struggling x

Morning, been absent for the past couple of weeks as I just seem to be exhausted and just flop when I come in. Work is fine but is longer hours and I think my body clock has still been adjusting after my period of unemployment. Weekends for the last few weeks have been crazy too so this is the first weekend I have any downtime. I must get my bloods checked to see if I am anaemia again and check to see when I last had my B12 which I think is overdue just to ensure my health is where it should be. Dad has been keeping on top of things for him and Mum and her careers are keeping an eye out for him too (he had a mega cough last week so they have been checking his temperature. Pregnant DIL is a teacher and was banned from work last week so won’t be returning now until after mat leave. DS who takes an immunosuppressant for his UC has said he would rather stop his medication than not go to work. He is a police officer but luckily moved over to train as a detective so doesn’t have so much contact with the public so is alternating working from home and in the station. I start the same next week and as we are in food production we will be battling to maintain orders until such time as we get any confirmed cases in the factory. DD is still away at uni but everything has been moved online, her dissertation is in and she only has a couple of smaller assignments to finish so will probably be home soon. She has already given notice on her room for the end of April but it will need a Flylady clean before she moves out to get her deposit back. She is due home for her 21st birthday next weekend even though we have had to cancel the celebrations (family meal rather than big party) so it will be a bit flat for her but can’t be helped. DH is plodding on with his computer games and the odd load of washing and not much else. Today and tomorrow I will therefore be flying and making sure I have got dog biscuits and poopy pads as she still thinks the top hallway makes a good toilet ggggrrrr.Love and hugs to you all as I know everyone is struggling in different ways, as a community who support each other I know there isn’t a better place to be. Stay strong ladies Kaz xxxMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!9

Good morning all
Firstly, lots of flylady virtual ((hugs)) all round.
It’s a beautiful sunny day out, with a bitterly cold wind. I am determined to get outside later and do something, just anything, in the garden and /or greenhouse. It’s good for the mind to get lost in the garden.
First though, it is HHI whilst the wm finishes doing its thing, and a clean of the utility room surfaces aka top of wm and freezer. I am embarrassed a) by how gross they are and b) that DD has accused me of hoarding, because I simply haven't put the dry goods shop from 2 weeks ago away yet.
I have a small lamb joint out of the freezer tonight s a treat. I bought it for an occasion, and i think that today is it - not saving for best anymore.
Back later, have a lovely day all.10 -

Morning all - joining in the virtual Flylady virtual hugs all round, especially to those coping with illness, lack of employment/income, stress and depression xxxx
There was a beautiful sunrise but it was still very cold when I went out to the shops before breakfast. The queue at Mr Al was all round the car park 15 minutes before they opened and it was a madhouse in there - fortunately I only needed a few items. After breakfast DS rang me and helped me get the settings right so that we could do a WApp video call: it was fun to see DGD1+2 and to introduce Rosie to their dog at a safe distance
Today's plan:
- finish cleaning the house all through (basically all of downstairs plus the bathroom)
- WM x1 or 2, as necessary, to take advantage of the lovely breeze
- emails/phonecalls to at least 3 friends
- prepare prayers video for church tomorrow and post it on the church FB page
- Rosie's walk, hopefully in sunshine
- finish off another line in my friend's ancestry (I'm only going back to around 1837)
See you later xx9 -
Morning xx
One good thing about being ill on my week off - I've lost another 4 lbs! I still sound like Bonnie Tyler but apart from an occasional cough and feeling tired I'm fine now. I'm sure I'll be 100% well just in time to go back to work on Wednesday. I'm not a key worker, but I provide Admin support for key workers in the Community so I guess it will be work as usual. And I know how lucky I am to be able to say that.
DS's GF has one more guaranteed week at work, but then doesn't know what is happening. Dad has phoned and asked me to stay away until I stop coughing - I wasn't planning on going round, but that made it easier. Having said that he's been in to town with B shopping for patio furniture aaaaarrrrgggghhhh!
Flying? Ummm? I'm washed and dressed and I've made my bedI've not even eaten yet - maybe I'm more ill than I thought
I need a plan:
Round 1 =
feed the birds
put out the rubbish and recycling
sort the washing in to loads
set WM swishing
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
Take care
