Round... get recording albums quick.. Bonnie made a fortune!! Cash in on those croaks!  I have a horrendously sore throat .. Every illness I get goes straight there.. My tonsils are twice their usual size but very little coating on them sadly.. (it stops it feeling so sore!) My hayfever has gone wild, I feel like the kittens spent the night licking my eyeballs! Glad you are feeling better  though.

The Chinese government advice taking 5g of vitamin C a day to deter CV and boost immunity and if you are a vulnerable person take 10g .. they were treating the very sick with IV vit C in massive doses and saw the best recovery in those patients.. They also used HIV medication but that is less available. If it helps anyone I'm willing to share, it's not harmful and can be taken with other meds.. I recommend a bulk buy of the powdered stuff used by gym bunnies (ascorbic acid) as it is much cheaper!

I have no idea what I am supposed to do about prescriptions.. mine or Boogs.. A couple of us are due bloods at the end of the month so that should be interesting.. I've not even had results of the December lot!

We need to pick Meem up from her friends this evening due to buses stopping/reducing service she can't get back so we have to go get her.. I'm considering taking the girls to run them on the beach for an hour.. Twinkle hasn't been out since Saturday and she is much better today.. She even got off the sofa to play! Some fresh air would do her the world of good.

There is a guy on FB doing online guitar lessons if anyone is interested.. I will find it again when I charged my phone.

ARGH... headache!!!! ..

Feels quite strange being at home all day on a Saturday, but we have done some flying
OH gave both vacuums a full service so working so much better now
Library end of living room clearead up, vacuumed and floor washed, so nicer for OH working from home
Bicycle set up removed from our bedroom 
Protection set up so cats can't pee on bottom shelf in library
Cats given flea treatment, both OH and I now scrathed and disinfected

The washing is hanging on for dear life on the line outside. I have cleaned the utility room - ashamed to call myself a flylady, it was gross! I unearthed the Christmas pudding that no one wanted to eat on Christmas Day - that has been put away for this December. Other random bits of groceries have been put in their rightful places. Then I cleaned the sink....and behind the taps with a toothbrush...nearly gagged doing it, it was foul! Sorry - tmi 😳. Now the room looks better.  It is still little more than a gloomy hole, but it is a relatively clean gloomy hole.
DD has a cold - runny nose, and generally blurgh. DH has sorted out the non-flowing kitchen sink, so I have also cleaned out the cupboard under there as well. 
Now I am going to take my cuppa out to the greenhouse. I may be some time.

Afternoon

I've hardly coughed at all today and the heavy weight seems to have got off my chest overnight - replaced by one of the furry variety, who was rapidly encouraged off by my turning over three times.

Had the delivery, which saves money and multiple potential shopping trips. The deliveryman looked very relieved when I chirped 'Good morning! Do you want to just put it over the wall and I'll deal with it?'. I got the feeling that most people today have been grumpy, obviously unwell or scared of him.

Just waiting for the new steam cleaner to turn up. I've missed having one.

Now silently banging my head against the wall, as he's decided to make a 'vegetable soup' but didn't mention anything until I smelled burning. The broccoli stalk that was being kept for broccoli soup, the half a leek meant for potato and leek soup, the carrots meant for carrot soup, etc, etc, have all been used to make something that resembles a defrosted bag of mixed veg. so has gone from approximately 6-10 separate meals to 1.
He 'didn't want to waste them'. Leaving them alone and not making them look (and taste) like pigswill might have been a plan, then.

If only the steam cleaner had arrived at the beginning of the delivery slot - I might have been able to distract him before he destroyed the best part of a week's worth of lunches.

Good afternoon 😁
I had every intention of getting the garden done today, but it is too windy. Stuff is blowing around the garden that wasn't blowing around during the storms! I have filled up one trug and I am using it to weigh down other stuff!

Other than that haven't done much. I have WULTD, emptied the DW and restacked and wiped down the kitchen surfaces. I have made a list of things I want to get done over the next few weeks. DS dysoned the LR for me.

I need to go to town 😱 I need to get poo bags, and we have decided to buy a sim card to put in an old phone to give to DMIL for mothers day. She will be 90 in april (celebrations cancelled 😥) so we need to show her how to use WhatsApp. Could be interesting! 😂 I will try and get a few other bits while we are out. I hate shopping at the moment - it is so depressing!!

GI.. I always hate shopping... I got anxiety the other day because of all the pushing and shoving and very loudly said the next person who touched me was getting a punch.. I am very wobbly on my feet anyway and being jostled is really painful.

DW been run once.. Off to reload it..

I'm dressing the girls, throwing them in the car and we are going to pick Meem up from her friends and they can have an hour being wild on the beach.. blow away some cobwebs. Twinkle has cabin fever. Wellies and coats on.. They can have chips on the way back.

The steam cleaner arrived. Gave Himself first go, which meant the kitchen, hallway, bathroom and studio floors are now clean. He's also cleaned behind the upstairs toilet.

He likes it. Which bodes well, as liking the ridiculously expensive vacuum cleaner definitely made him use it more regularly.

I'm planning to do the mattress, bedroom rug and landing/stair carpets tomorrow; depending upon how much I have to do he's annoying me, I might see about taking the duvet to the launderette, assuming it's still open, and bung it on a hot wash with some bleach in the mix.If not, I might do the bedroom windows.

Hi again

Hope you are all well, I have wm x 3, it was threatening to blow away so I ended up finishing it off in the house, garden not done, too windy, hope it will be calmer tomorrow, I did some baking to send to FIL and have fruit soaking to make bara brith tomorrow for us. Yum! 

As outside jobs were off I decluttered a nap this afternoon and read my book for a couple of hours, feeling very lazy after that I shifted my ‘arris and cleaned bathroom and en suite, hoovered through office and spare room and hoovered both flights of stairs.

supper just done as we were both starving, check in calls to older relatives made, kitchen reset.
