Thanks janb5 - I am trying to keep everything going, not easy but moping about never got me anywhere.
Just settled £150 cap1 card for £100. £50 towards another debt...

My dd celebrated her 18th birthday yesterday, she is meeting a couple of friends tomorrow and they're going to try and go to a pub - I'm not sure about it but she wants to (with all the precautions that come with it). My last two complaint letters come back and they haven't upheld my complaints but it was an exercise worth doing. I'm working out a new budget now and I'm desperate to save up and make offers to clear them.
I treated myself to a steam mop thing that turns into a hand held and I love it. I've been all over the kitchen with it. Blimmin noisy mind you especially when on full steam.
Going to drop some bottles off at the bottle bank in a mo, then get the bunnies to bed and have an early night myself - I've  been missing out on sleep due to a toothache.

Good luck with the pub thing and your daughter! I couldn't imagine a worse place to be ATM, but am also aware that at a younger age I adored being out and socialising, and do feel for the people who have been missing out.

Dd had a fab time out on Sunday.  She met some friends they all came equipped with face masks and hand sanitizer. They were escorted to a table in the pub and that's where they stayed. All had a good time so it can be done if people are sensible.
Creditor got in touch today. I filled out an i&e for them with an offer of payment so we'll see what happens there. It's a £500 debt so might push for a partial settlement?
With any luck I'll have a job to apply for soon, doing what I'm doing now but on a permanent basis. I can't wait. I need to get out of this limbo. I'm lucky to enjoy working from home, I know it's not for everyone.
Need to do a little shop tomorrow, so will go at lunchtime. Dd been working a lot lately so I'm going to do her a roast chicken dinner - her favourite.

What a dull day, saying that I dont mind this drizzly rain it's quite refreshing. Set up a payment with a creditor today £5 a month against a £550 debt. They offered a settlement of  £480 but I dont have that available at this time. I'll contact them again in 6 months or so to see how things lie.
Work very busy at the moment which is good.
Yes , all okay at the mo.

Isn't it strange how things turn around.  I'm back doing the manager job, all the talk about the other job was going nowhere. I've been through the mill at work and am on the way to sorting the people issues out. Working from home helps because I can get back into it without having to be with them. Even though it's been tough, I'm lucky to have a job I know that. So far my family has come through covid. I've paid off two creditors,  payment plans with three others and waiting to hear from the remainder.
One of our bunnies passed away earlier this month - very sad.
I cant believe we're nearly in October!
