Hi All,
I have Sky TV including the sky sports package. I phoned them up yesterday asking if my monthly bill would be reduced as nearly all, if not all sporting events have been cancelled. Therefore not getting what I am paying for. These next couple of months will be hard financially for everyone. I phoned them up and was told no.
Has anyone else had the same problem?
Thanks for reading!

As above plus OP needs to read T&C of contract as i see no guarantee that xx matches will be shown live .Even more so when Sky have no control over the matches .Likewise BT Sport and all the others that users are complaining about re the pandemic .0

Really glad that I had my regular haggle last month - paying full price for Sky NoSports in HD would be really hard to bear!!

As of today you can pause your Sky Sports subscription due to the Coronavirus, but you have to ring them to do it as you will not get it automatically, you have to contact them directly to tell them. As far as I'm aware you cannot do it online.

Yup, on the phone now. Took me 10 attempts to get past the initial "we are busy, call back tomorrow", I then got the message saying the events are not cancelled, just postponed (the guilt trip), and now in a queue which they said is 45 minutes.
Not being able to downgrade online is a joke and would cut down on their call centre resources, but they know if they throw up barriers people wont downgrade.
Have been reading though that taking Sports off may affect other discounts. So will see what they say. Headphone in listening to the hold music and will carry on working!
EDIT - just realised the thread title says BT, I am with Sky. Maybe it needs amending as the merged threads have been shoved in here also.0
