In between swearing blue murder at everything related to Sainsburys this morning I had a little chuckle. Yesterday Mrs Un excitedly announced that she'd found six slices of bread in the freezer. This morning she burnt four of them in the toaster...
Oh Bless her!  I hope you gave her a cuddle and made her feel better

That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I am definately innocent on the granulated sugar and crystallised ginger front, but I so fancy some ginger now!! :)

For anyone looking for something to do while in isolation, and who can sew, this might appeal: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1500699350098765/

Youngest child went back to work last night 😃 I can’t wait for a phone call to hear all about it and to find out whether he’ll be tested for the Antibody. Please please let him be immune to this now!
The community care team are calling today but my temperature has been normal for the last 24 hours so, I think I’m over whatever I had – definitely not Covid19 although I’m more out of breath than usual.
So good to read that youngest has recovered.  Fingers crossed that he has immunity.  Good too that community care are keeping an eye on you.

Greenbee, sorry your vegbox wasn't up to scratch this time - right now you need the veg more than ever to help your body get over the virus.  Ours has arrived and is looking good so far - just a couple of tomatoes are a bit soft so I'll put those in today's lunch.  Still no possibility of upping the quantity to our normal level though and this week we're sharing with self-isolating rellie who 9 days in has run out of fresh.  OH's car needs a run out so we'll drop it off on their driveway later.

OH is due an important blood test but having discussed it with the nurse practitioner they've agreed that going to have it done is more of a risk and they've told him what to look out for and ring them about if needs be.

Yesterday, started getting back to working through my to do list.  OH joked that if I don't survive this pandemic, he's going to put my lists in the coffin to be burned with me!

Enjoying the challenge of cooking with all the ood ingredients.  Loved the buckwheat that I've busily been ignoring for a couple of years and OH enjoyed the curry last night made with 'fake' coconut milk (I had a carton of hemp milk open so tried that and it worked well - just thickened it up a bit with some ground almonds).  Not sure what we're having tonight yet.  I'd like to make some pancakes with the rest of the hemp milk if I have the energy.

@oceanspirit - can you suggest some buckwheat recipes please? I have lots - toasted and untoasted - and find it claggy and uninteresting when cooked.
Several friends have my lists, so hopefully my supplies will be topped up at various points. Having been isolated for 3 weeks now I'm not keen to go out... but I'll have to start taking responsibility for my own shopping at some point.

Today's activity has been an online yoga class followed by a deep clean of the bathroom. I miss having my cleaner each week, but I am noticing where her blind spots are (these clearly include changing the water in the mop bucket, as the colour of the water when I mopped the floor in rooms that aren't used much was eye-opening - I think she's been spreading the dirt from the kitchen/utility evenly throughout the house!)
