I don't know about deliveries but my DH took my High rate PIP mobility and care documentation and Waitrose was able to release some stock that they had held back for the vulnerable. Very helpful plus my DD has sent me Pasta and hand gel from Scotland! Trying to be creative xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.4 -

what i really want to know is how to persuade Sainsburys that I'm eligible for actually getting some food delivered before Covid 2023 pops up without warning
Why am I in this handcart and where are we going ?4 -
Gers said:greenbee said:Anyway, wish me luck. After three weeks I finally called the surgery, GP called back for triage, told me to rest, said they'd get the nurse (who lives nearby) to drop off a sick note. Half an hour later I got a call saying I need to go in. So having made a huge effort to shower and dress, I'm about to get in the car and drive to the surgery. I'll park outside, phone them to let them know I'm there, and then go in via the fire exit to the isolation room. I assume they want to check my breathing. Or whether my thermometer is actually working. You should not have to go to the GP for an isolation / fit notehttps://digital.nhs.uk/news-and-events/latest-news/isolation-notes One can be produced online by NHS 111. Seems most odd to be asked to visit the surgery.7

Great to hear that you've got the all clear, it must be an enormous relief.I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy7 -

Yes, they keep saying it's getting nearer for the testing to be available so hopefully it will be in the near future.
I agree it will make an enormous difference if people know they are immune. The stress front line workers are under must be extreme, and yet they still go on day after day. We owe them all so much. XI Believe.....

Found this earlier from Sainsburys so hopefully its just a case of keeping our collective nerve. Once online deliveries are unblocked I think things will 'feel' a bit better

My husband has the text and the information about shielding seems somewhat confusing and contradictory. Whilst I'm perfectly fit and able to go food shopping (although I don't drive, so I have to decide whether to take a long walk or use a bus or taxi, or have him drive and stay in the car) - as soon as I do, I'm putting him at risk as I might have picked it up - if only on my clothes etc. Avoiding public excursions altogether would be the safest solution. Yet, as others have found, there are no food delivery slots to be had.
I feel a bit conflicted today as we could do with some fresh food shopping, but I had nightmares last night about Aldi becoming the new social meeting hub (the only place people can legitimately visit) and I was trying to push my way through partying 'shoppers' surrounded by off-school kids playing tag and people pouring drinks.6
