There are also courses about infections!

The posties aren’t allowed to let you sign for your post now. They ask if you give permission for them to sign for you. They use CV19 and leave you post on the step.Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0

"Additionally, for all customers (including those who are self-isolating) where we need to deliver any parcel that won’t fit through your letterbox, we will place your item at your door. Having knocked on your door, we will then step aside to a safe distance while you retrieve your item. This will ensure your item is delivered securely rather than being left outside."

For OP this may have happened before they decided on the guidance, but that postie obviously lacked some sense anyway. Unless they were wangling for a week off work, hoping to be breathed on so then they could say they needed to self-isolate ... !0 -
Watched a documentary last night about 911. Really sad - a guy had gone out and shot a load of people trying to get some kind of revenge, and ended up on death row. Not the best thing I have watched recently, (really too sad, and too close to the bone I think) but informative nevertheless
@Spoonie_Turtle I *think* it was Thursday, the thing with Postie. But yknow one day has kinda blended in to the next, this week.
It is strange how time goes when you are not at work, isn't it. Like that feeling some people say between Christmas and the New year, when they lose track of what day of the week, it is - I have felt a bit like thatWith love, POSR0 -
If I was in isolation I would clean the house - I mean like like a good spring clean. I know I could catch up on DIY but the job satisfaction you get from doing a thorough clean is really worth it - and of course, doing it now means you feel even better 'cos you feel you've helped rid the house of bugs - if you use those anti bacterial wipes as part of the clean that is. I'd start on the kitchen and see how it goes from there.2

Trying to get the bowls club not to lock everybody out but to arrange access for members to bowl alone on a rota so that they will not communicate closely but will at least be able to get out in the fresh air occasionally and remain sane and see some others , albeit at a relative distance3

Watched a film last night called A Quiet Place. Alien invaders have supersensitive hearing and the humans have to live in silence to try and stay alive. Not the best of light entertainment at the moment 😂. But it was brilliant. Hardly any dialogue, no music just a strange eerie silence. It really ramped up the tension.
Now half watching Pride and Prejudice.....good old Mr Darcy for a bit of escapism.
The weather isn't exactly helping is it......😂. I am house cleaning too. Currently sorting out paperwork.

Hi everyone
I'm all up for trying to stay sane , during all this hooha
I've decided to stop watching the news, as it makes me feel powerless , although I'm doing all I can to stay safe, n keep other's safe.
Mum's 76, very active, n is out every day with her mates. She's horrified at the thought of being stuck in for 4 monthsI can obviously get her shopping, with my online shop, but doubt She'll stay in
I watched Lost Girls the other night, n found it very moving n sad .Will be watching Mrs Lowry this week, I didn't realise it was on Netflix!"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Im also going to sort through all my paperwork, organise my photos and finish my memoirs. 😂."You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Just seen another one of my regular social activities cancelled for the duration. I'm watching my Social Life collapsing like a house of cards at the moment. Thank goodness for having a garden and thank goodness it's going to be spring soon and I can go out for walks in the vicinity - and I shall be chatting to any "friendly face" I see unless it's obvious they're steering a distance away from people and/or brandishing a tissue. Got the FutureLearn free short course on "that" virus starting up in about a weeks time now - and lots of well-qualified looking people from across the world have been introducing themselves as participants that will be doing it - expect that will be one of their most popular courses ever.1
