I paid my valuation fee last Thursday. The estate agent has not had call for access yet its frustrating hopefully will heard something by the end of the week. What has other people's time scales been like between paying for valuation and the surveyor going out to do it?
Ours took over a week for them to do it

How long after valuation is the usual time scale for the valuation report to be done?

@doglover34 you seem like a perfect customer for bluestone .. no defaults or CCJs .. I have old CCJs and defaults and bluestone have offered us a mortgage . As long as you pass affordability I can’t see there being any issues with the credit side of things .. just be prepared that bluestone are very slow and will ask for every document ( probably more than once ) but I think you will be fine judging my what you have said.. I’d allow 8 weeks from DIP to offer but it will be worth it ..

Do they have your debit card details as I had to provide mine for the valuation.
-- if you've already provided the card details to your broker, you will be best transferring the money to your current account.

Then I had to make the mortgage arrangement payment when funds were due to be released.
