Chased this today, it's been 4 days since the valuation. He so no updates as of yet but in his experience this is a good thing as if they had issues they be straight back!ACG said:Get your broker to chase up.
I cant recall if the offer gets added to something like lender exchange or lms - which means the solicitor needs to log in to check. But get your broker to chase up and find out.
He will get back to me when there is one as he checks the portal each day !
I am a fully grown man and will probably cry if it goes through
just wish I could tell my younger self to be finically responsible. 2 -

That’s fantastic. I had to send my employer reff off yesterday, I had the valuation last week.Did they ask for anything else since your valuation and do they Call you or inform your broker you got an offer !0 -
Hi all.
we are due to complete on Friday 26th however yesterday I received an email from simply (who I feel have been incredibly sneaky by doing this) via my solicitor to say that we had not paid an invoice (it was meant to be added to our mortgage) and that they were trying to stop the process.
The invoice was paid within an hour of receiving the email but as it was last thing on a Friday I haven’t heard anything else since since.
i am now on total edge, feeling sick and know it’s going to be a long weekend and hoping this doesn’t scupper our chances so close to the end!
Can anyone offer any words of wisdom or share a similar situation!0 -
Yes they did ask for a couple of additional bits, due to time line since financial submissions. No call from them they contact broker directly, broker contacted me with information regarding offer.canonman said:difficultime2022 said:We have our offer 🍾🥂🎉🥳🥂🍾🎉🥳🥂🍾

Yes I did, we consolidated a lot of debt! Just make sure you give your solicitor a full list of the creditors that need to be paid, the account number, the bank details of the settlement amount and the settlement amounts. As soon as you get a completion date, contact all of the creditors being paid back and get them to calculate the settlement balance as of the date of completion. Your solicitor will do the rest - good luck! It was straight forward for us and the solicitor appreciated our help in getting all the settlement figurers.afreshstart86 said:hiya, has anyone had a term in their mortgage offer thar “upon completion the following debts must be paid by the solicitor” if you have, was it quite a straight forward process with the solicitor?Looking to remortgage December 2022 onto a better rate!0 -
UpdateHad an email today from the broker.Kind of an update, so they haven't asked for anything else which is good news and you are officially at the awaiting final decision stage. We should have the offer in the next couple days or maybe sooner. I'll keep checking throughout tomorrow. That must be it now ! On edge ! Lol 😂0
