Thats amazing, congratulations!! How long did that take? Ours went in on Tuesday 31st May!
  • @afreshstart86 our full application went in 7th may a bit of additional documents and then it went to underwrite and they asked us to make some adjustments to affordability which we did
and the underwriter was happy so just under 5 weeks, I know it’s case dependent though

good luck I’m sure it will be fine xx

Hey sorry to jump on this. We've had our offer sent through with a couple of conditions which include a couple of letters. They haven't yet done an employment check are they likely to do one now?
  • @Firsttimemortgage1 I’m not sure, we had sent in my hubbys p60 for two years and we had given employers details. I’m not sure if they have or not.
They may ask for an updated payslip.

Yes they've had all of our employment details including payslips p45 p60 bank statements etc but they haven't contacted my employer. I just wondered if they would do it after or before offer as we've now had the mortgage offer.

It seems like Everyone has different experiences as we’ve had no hard credit checks on our files From bluestone either and some have so I’m not sure how they do some things
  • @Firsttimemortgage1 I think if you have been employed for more than 2 years then they may just take your p60’s and wage slips
  • Hi, we’ve also not had hard credit checks and have now completed but my question is will it show on my credit file that I have a mortgage ?
  • @lhollingworth89 I would have thought so
