congrats!
did you have any final checks before completion?0 -
We completed 29th April, our first payment is 1st June.We had to have a call with them to confirm everything before we completed but they didn’t do any extra credit checks, want to see any docs etc, and we only had 2 days left on our 6 month offer when we completed.1

Hiya, we are in the early stages with Bluestone. Reading this forum does give me hope. We have our DIP and have now sold our property. Did you find Bluestone worked well with your Conveyancer? Or is there a particular one we should use because of this not being a 'high street lender'. Any advice welcome.0

Hi guys,
they conducted hard search on Friday for us. On Monday asked us to confirm an incentive in my husbands payslip which we did and now they’ve asked for his 2021 p60 and all of his payslips that contain his bonus pay for the last year,
I’m starting to feel really concerned that they r gonna say we can’t ‘afford’ the mortgage. Which will be so annoying because we live quite a comfortable life and we have been saying £1000 per month for the past 3 years on top of paying rent and other bills to save for a mortgage deposit. Still managed to have holidays and days out with the children 🤣
Am I massively overthinking?? xxx0 -
@Afreshstart it's not quite as simple as picking any solicitor, they have to be on Bluestone's panel and unfortunately bluestone don't release details of who is! I obtained quotes from four large city firms, sent the names to my broker any they got a yes / no reply. Only one was on the panel.
@KelBelle88 overthinking it, they just have to look into consistency of the bonus, assuming you're trying to use that as part of affordability. Be guided by your broker as they know the ins and outs of your circumstances and how they presented you to Bluestone.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1
