In my head I’ve given until tomorrow - and then I’m going to ask the MA to push. I’ve got a call with my current mortgage provider on Friday as I’m fed up with waiting. I don’t understand l. If they ask for more stuff I’ll be fuming as they’ve had it for 2 weeks now and all they’ve asked for is my children’s details!

That is a bit ridiculous! Would definitely get your MA on it. When I spoke to mine they chase every 2 days and would generally update me in that time too. Really hope for some movement soon for you

My MA is amazing - but now I’m starting to think whether they’re just not chasing enough. Or if it’s because it’s a remortgage - may be a different process?? But then again, still needs to be uw the same. I haven’t had any adverse credit now for over 3 years, a good deposit which doesn’t need proof as we already have the house etc... so would have thought it was easier?? But - I don’t pay for the valuation so not sure if they fully uw before valuation?? God knows - but I’m going to ask for a chase tomorrow and find out what’s going on. I wouldn’t mind so much if they were asking for stuff in between (although that would be annoying) - it’s just nothing for 2 weeks and then asking about my children - which was answered Monday afternoon - so would have thought I’d hear by now!! Stress!!! 😩😩😩

So I’ve just had an update - apparently our case has been underwritten and one last thing they need is work references! This should be the final thing before valuation 🤞🏼🤞🏼
