Haha that made me laugh. I’m going into the 8th week now and I am so sick of it! Had to prove my deposit 4 times different time periods, tenancy references, tax questions, questions about bank account, questions on kids, questions about our business...
I’m hoping to get the offer soon, I can’t take it anymore plus the builder is chasing me non stop as we reserved our house in July.

It’s so stressful isn’t it! Have you had your valuation done yet? We’re buying a new build and they’re chasing daily now, feel sorry for the MA as it’s him they’re pestering more than me

Yes it isn’t a nice experience at all! 

Our survey was done 3 weeks ago but for some reason they keep focusing on the deposit even though I’ve proved 2 years worth of bank statements!! It’s annoying

Was questions about your kids one of the last??!! Or one of your first?? I’m hoping it’s the last as thats what I’ve just been asked 🤦🏼‍♀️😂😂

I am still waiting for the actual offer letter to come then I can get the ball rolling with the solicitors. 

I think you will be like us and itll go straight to offer.

@bloomingmarvelous I really bloody hope so. I’m on edge, my phone has not left my hand today! Hope your letter comes through soon. 

I got asked in first set of questions about children but there is no rhyme or reason in their questions I believe! I just tried to get stuff back to them same day then it all of a sudden got passed for valuation

Mine has been in underwriting for a week and a half, and they’ve only just asked about my children!! I’m not sure if mine is different as it’s a remortgage and I’m not paying for valuation - but just seems to be taking longer than others!

We are still getting requests for more documents every couple of days then waiting for them to be reviewed etc, like a big cycle of stress! We are with Simply who have been great but slow progress so far and only a matter of time before the vender starts getting annoyed waiting

What are they asking for? I’m still waiting too - prob for the next questions 🙄
