Has anyone had a credit search from a company called SMARTSEARCH as well as BLUESTONE?

I searched the company up and seems like they help organizations do ANTI MONEY LAUNDERING CHECKS.

Search was done on the same day Bluestone did they check.
We just had an identity and generic search done by bluestone. Nothing else after this and we're near completion. It sounds like it was bluestone if it's the same day. They're hot on checking for money laundering (we were asked a good 5 times where our deposit came from and why my husband didn't have a buisness account and had to provide proof) mention it to your MA but I would have said it was just to double check and searches show your case is progressing 😊
Just sent a WhatsApp to my MA, he’s responded saying it is Bluestone. Full application in on 22/07 and with the underwriter on 30/07.. seems to be progressing well.. 🤞
Brilliant! According to our broker, bluestone have doubled their workforce in the last month which is why we think our offer came so quickly after months of waiting! They're much faster now than when we applied that's for sure! Hopefully won't be long for you
My broker said this too! She said they have improved and are much quicker! Defo a good thing!
  • We have just applied.

Signed all docs on 19th July asked for additional info the 23rd and 26th.

we had a ID check and quotation show on our credit file on 20th July and then what I assume is a full credit check on 30th, it’s says First Mortgage under allocation type.

So I’m guessing it’s with the underwriters. Hopefully we’ll hear something back soon!

I’m patiently waiting the results from Thursdays valuation, I say patiently I’m absolutely crapping it! How did everyone else’s valuations go on HTB new builds?
  • What is the most common “conditions of mortgage” that people receive when they get their final official mortgage offer?

From what I have seen on this thread many people need to pay off a payday loan or clear certain debts. I’ve seen it frequently on here!

Ours was Giftor indemnity and proving that a wall taken down by the seller in the kitchen / diner was not load baring resulting in a £500 structural engineer report on top of valuation fee. All ended well though and we're due to complete on 12th 😅

It's just an agreement drawn up by your solicitor to say that the person who gifted you the money won't ask for it back if say they went bankrupt etc. Ours was around £45 and was done in a couple of hours which didn't affect any of the process it just had to be in place before completion. You're almost there! 😁

    I really hope so!

    Thank you for the reassurance!

I am dreading them say we have to pay a credit card or something off atm. With the DMP finishing next year, as well as some other payments end of this year we passed affordability even taking those into consideration!

I have everything crossed and having sleepless nights now
