Hey everyone,
So after what feels like months we had our application approved subject to valuation. Paid that yesterday as soon as I found out, if the valuation goes ok any guesses how long until we get offer?0 -
@Cosy2020 that’s a brilliant way to pass the time. I literally can’t wait now. Will be nice to see how our choices look. We probably will exchange and complete on the same day at this rate! 🤣Will let you know as soon as we hear anything🤞Cosy2020 said:
We’ve got another 2 months until completion yet - so just sitting tight and made a home Instagram account to help pass the time 😂 oh wow, so only a couple weeks left until your house is finished then! Do you think you’ll end up exchanging and completing on the same day? Keep us updated with how you get on and when you get the offer!Nedsawaiting said:@Cosy2020 I thought you were in soon. It will be worth the wait. Our house is almost finished having its final checks. Our house demonstration is next week. No offer yet though. MA says we should have an update tomorrow. They asked for a few other bits after valuation including employment references. I hope we get some good news tomorrow. I don’t know what else they would need.0 -
I'm still waiting on an offer. Was told 3 working days last week and its now day 5 or 6. So infuriating they dont stick to their sla's. Today is now 13 weeks since we got our dip so its been such a long process to get here.0

I think (and hope) it's quite quick after valuation. Ours is today and I'm just hoping everything is ok as the house needs alot of work but mainly updating. It's a relief when you get to valuation but still stressful!Ashswanz said:Hey everyone,

Hey!
I've been following this forum for weeks now & it's been so helpful.
I'm using Simply for MA & they have been great so far.
For reference my journey timeline:
22.05.21 - reserved new build property
17.06.21 - application went to Bluestone
01.07.21 - request docs
12.07.21 - employment reference request
12.07.21 - valuation instructed
got an email from our MA to say we've been accepted subject to valuation & valuation is scheduled for today (21.07.21) !! fingers crossed all goes well
How long after valuation did anyone get their offer?
We've been told 2 working days by our MA.0 -
Our valuation is today too! It's such a worry getting over this final hurdle isn't it!?FTBuyer21 said:Hey!

We've been told similar by our broker 2-4 days so hopefully by or on Monday we'll hear something. Hang in there! 😊1 -
Yes! Luckily as we're buying a new build apartment, a couple of the others in block have already had their valuation & there were no issues so ours should be the same but you never know!!Sevendoorsdown said:

Ha! Yes, bluestone seem like they want you to jump through hoops that's for sure! It'll all be worth it in the end though. I keep saying at least we'll be in our new home for Christmas 😂 trying to stay positive!0 -
currently patiently waiting for bluestones update after there questions they said once answered they would refer to the underwriter this was last week and still no news! Stressed is an understatement trying to keep myself busy to pass the time! 😂0

Application has now been submitted after a lot of stressful work 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Hopefully it is now straightforward as simply did do a lot of work etcCosy2020 said:@Sammie2021 if simply said that then I’d go with what they say. From experience on this thread everyone’s experience is different. We were told we weren’t allowed to apply if we’d had a payday loan in the last 6 months but I’ve seen people on this thread who had a payday loan active and open on their file and got an offer.Simply wouldn’t have got you a DIP if they thought you wouldn’t get an offer! It’s a really stressful process so try to relax as much as possible - easier said than done I know!
