Bluestone Mortgages

@chloes26 @Nedsawaiting we’re using help to buy as well so it’s good to know we’re not the only ones and to hear other people’s timelines.@Nedsawaiting it could be bluestone. We had something similar, asked for a couple extra docs 3 days after application was submitted and haven’t heard a peep since (apart from valuation).0

Has anyone had a valuation instructed and not been told? I paid for mine at time of application so they won’t need to ask me for payment, I was hoping they would do valuation soon As seemingly that’s a very positive sign but I’ve heard nothing yet. Meant to have update yesterday and didn’t so my stress is even worse today as I had myself all prepared for an update that didn’t arrive 😌0

We were told that when the application gets submitted it’s looked over first by a case manager who makes a request for more documents, but will then go to pre-underwriting which is where our other documents were requested. I think the idea is when it’s at underwriting stage they can get on with it! Good luck!! ☺️Nedsawaiting said:0 -
They didn’t tell us that they were doing our valuation, but when i spoke to my mortgage broker she told me it’s because we’re buying a newbuild so the valuations on them are free? So Bluestone pretty much instructed ours as soon as we submitted the application!Foreverwaiting123 said:Has anyone had a valuation instructed and not been told? Same for us. We haven’t heard from bluestone about valuation but the developer we’re buying from told us in our weekly update email that our valuation had been booked for this week. We’re using help to buy too, I think things are slightly different with help to buy as you say, because the valuation is free they just book them in quite quicker regardless of where you are in the process.chloes26 said:
