Hi Guys! Has anyone had bluestone get a reference from their employer? We haven't had one requested but not sure if we should get hold of one anyway.

I believe some people have but you can't just send a reference. They have a specific template they send that it needs to be.eje2021 said:Hi Guys! Has anyone had bluestone get a reference from their employer? We haven't had one requested but not sure if we should get hold of one anyway.0 -
Oh okay that's fine then lol. Will wait and see if they want one or not. Thought we could prepare one to have it ready incase they asked for itJen271626 said:

They’ve took my employers email so I think they’ve asked for one but I haven’t been told either way.0

We've been told to expect an update next week. Apparently they're whizzing through applications quicker now that they have reduced their LTV rate for their new applications. I really wanted something to celebrate this weekend but looks like we'll be waiting a lot longer!0

Hi All
Been reading this post for a good few weeks as had our application go in on the 13th May. Credit check done on the 26th May but nothing else yet. We have offered 20% deposit on application but having read above what I've read about 75% LTV, I'm a bit concerned.
Does anyone know when that went to 75% LTV?
thanks all.0 -
@teddy2014 I submitted around the same time 11th May, I haven’t had any hard search appear on Experian as yet. Paid for valuation last Wednesday and haven’t heard anything more as yet0

How frustrating, I thought they'd fire an offer out quite quickly after you had your valuation.. I really hope you hear soon its been quite a while now for you.Cosy2020 said:We've been told to expect an update next week. @Fingerscrossed16 quite frustrating really, they do everything different for everybody by the looks of it. Both my wife and I have had hard searches done on 26th. Just a bit concerned about the 75% thing they got going on now so just want to know when that came in to effect. Have you had the valuation done yet?0

The search things strange..I had a two soft at dip then two soft again on 24th May. Another poster on here who got his offer never had a hard search at all either just soft search..I wonder if its to do with what category you fall in to and what your adverse credit is.teddy2014 said:@Fingerscrossed16 quite frustrating really, they do everything different for everybody by the looks of it. I think the new rule about 75% ltv only changed last week or the week before, so you will be alright.
