  • @teddy2014 no I haven’t heard if it’s booked in or not yet, which I thought I would have by now. I’m not sure on the LTV as I’m 30% so just fall outside.

@Jen271626 thanks Jen. I would imagine it would be to do with Categories as we have had a few problems, in 2016 i had 2 CCJ's, both satisfied and for non credit accounts (Utilities). We couldnt afford London so have since moved to enable us to be able to afford to live!!
Surely they wouldn't do a credit check and leave a mark if they were going to refuse on the LTV?

I honestly think you will be fine..you applied the same time as me and the article that was posted was just a week or so ago and said that they were withdrawing products higher than 75%ltv for new applicants, not those in the pipeline.

Thanks Jen. I have asked my MA but no reply yet. Never there when you need them!
  • @teddy2014https://www.mortgagesolutions.co.uk/news/2021/06/02/bluestone-caps-maximum-ltv-at-75-per-cent-as-demand-rises/ here is the correct article dated 2/6/2021 it says new applications affected while the process pipeline customers so you (and me) are fine 😊

thank you @Foreverwaiting123 I didnt read it properly! In my panic, I must have missed it! See how it goes I guess! No point stressing! thanks again
  • There’s two articles but one is from 2020 and I did the same. When covid hit they did change it for all but then relaxed it and now this change is just for new. I had the same panic hence why I searched for this updated version

Well, we received our offer last Thursday.. hoping to exchange by this Friday.
    Our timeline was:
    Mortgage in principe 2/4/21
    Mortgage submitted 8/4/21
    Valuation 22/4/21
    Request for more documents 7/5/21
    Verbal offer 1/6/21
    Formal offer 3/6/21

The process was gruelling and so anxiety provoking but our MA was amazing, highly recommend prosper protect mortgages. Also recommend contacting the Bluestone representative for your area if things seem to be taking their time, we spoke to ours and was given an offer 3 days later.

    Hang on in there ☺️

Our valuation is booked for Friday. Hoping all is ok.
In response to the credit searches, Bluestone have advised they are happy to proceed depending on valuation & we haven’t had any hard searches show up yet. Only a couple of soft searches. I pay for Experian & check everyday 😂
