Hello Everyone, been following silently on this forum, my application has been with bluestone for over 5 months which feels like years, valuation was done, hard search was done we just waiting on offer but they’ve been asking for documents almost every week, the problem is now my house has been re-marketed and reservation was cancelled last week and I cried my heart out. However am still waiting for bluestone, does anyone know if I still stand a chance of buying the same house again because we’ve been told someone else has shown interest 😭😭
5 months is madness. Why has it taken so long? Who was your packager, could they not of forced them to speed up. I think anyone would lose a house after that long. Id imagine if Bluestone hurry up before anyone else signs to buy the house you have a chance. Sorry its taken so long, thats torture.

    Hi everyone,

I have been reading your posts and I'm getting worried now.
Last month I was told by my MA that we should start looking at houses to which we ended up finding one and making an offer on the 3/3.
So, we got our DIP and mortgage illustration on 13/5.
Sent documents such as 3 months bank statements and 3 months payslips on 28/5.
We haven't heard anything at all. I've looked at their website and it says they are assessing fully packaged cases received on the 14th of May. Does this mean they will not be looking at our application until 22/23 of June?

Could I also ask what other documents they may require as I am looking up and not really getting anywhere?

I've had the estate agents call me and tell me that the vendors are thinking of remarketing the house which is stressing me out even more now :disappointed:
I'm not sure how it works as someone posted yesterday who applied after the 14th May and have heard stuff. It seems there is no rhyme or reason to how quickly your application will take some people (like couple posts above) are 3+months others are a few weeks. I guess it depends on complexity of your case.

Paperwork we had to send - 3 months personal and business bank statement. Husbands self employed sa305s and tax overviews, my wage slips for 3 months and my p60. Expanation for adverse credit. Continuing credit commitments form, tenancy agreement, giftor id, pic of him holding it and 3 months of his bank statements even though its gifted equity we are using. Our id, and latest child benefit award notice and an up to date letter as proof of address.
Oh my gosh, so much paperwork. I actually want to cry !!
We are first time buyers and living with parents. My partner has adverse credit whereas mine is rated excellent according to Experian. This whole process has aged me about 10 years.

Yeah its quite overwhelming.. im also expecting them to want my employers reference and my husband to sign in a covid declaration saying how it affected his business and that its recovered now. They also wanted to know the year the building was built. Its alot. Hopefully we will all get there in the end though.

5 months that’s crazy. Think you need to switch brokers.

Hi guys, I’ve also been a silent follower of this thread. My timeline is DIP 11/5 full application submitted 14/5 was hoping to hear something yesterday but still nothing. The wait is just unbearable isn’t it. I don’t want to hound my MA but it’s just the not knowing anything that drives me crazy!

Aw it's so tough isn't it. I've decided to leave my MA alone for a bit and just wait until I hear back as I'm driving myself mad thinking that I've got any control over it which I don't haha. We submitted in mid-April so we're expecting an update before the 16th June I think if I base it on the average case length.

If I get an offer I'm pouring myself a large glass of wine haha!

MA gave an update all is moving along nicely. He says we don’t need to do a valuation as we have provide a home report and they have checked it off and are happy with it. I’m very confused I thought they would have to do a retype or something. So we are just waiting for an offer now. Has anyone else had this?

Did you send them the home report? I was wondering if I should since I have it. But I asked my broker a few times if we could use it instead of a valuation and never got an answer. If we can avoid another valuation id prefer it since its me that has the stress as the buyer and of getting the place spotless for valuation when we already live here 😆
