Bluestone have asked for ID from our parent who are gifting - They had their bank statements and all of our documents - is this a positive step or just standard. Im hoping they would have looked at our information before requesting that from our gifters?0

Unfortunately it’s standard - we were asked for that information nearly 3 weeks ago and haven’t heard a peep since.0

i think a lot has to do with the broker. You could get a request from your broker For more info, send it back to them, and not know when they have actually sent it on to BS. Always feels like you are waiting for BS when it could be the middle man.0

So I’ve got my written offer today however the expiry date is 25th August and we are only due to complete our purchase in October 😩 so I don’t know what to do from now! Waiting for the broker to come back to me...1
