Bluestone Mortgages

The only info that I can rely on it the odd email that has been forwarded to me from The packager and that said they had submitted on 17th may but the MA had said weeks previous it had been sent so I’m at a total loss. I’m not in a chain and so far the seller seems patient so I just hope it gets sorted soon.

It sounds as though your MA might have been sitting on your application for some reason. If it was only submitted on the 17th May then it might take a couple of weeks for Bluestone to review it as I think they're reviewing applications from the 4th May today. I really feel for you. I'd ask your MA why it took them so long to submit as well.1

I could be wrong but the impression I’ve got it that it was bright star that sat on the application too long but I strongly feel that the MA should have chased them up. I got an email to say they didn’t need anything more then three weeks and heard nothing. I thought bright star had ten days to view any new documents so after 3 weeks of nothing happening I asked MA to chase them Up and the reply was “it’s early in the process” but it wasn’t early it was 11 days over the timescale they advertise. That’s just
one example. I feel weeks have been wasted with the packager. I was told the stamp duty priorities had pushed my cheaper house back in the queue but I’ve read on here many times you need to be pushy. It’s frustrating not knowing what stage you are at and not being able to talk to anyone. I go through a secretary who goes through the ma who goes through brightstar (who has a 48 hour delay) who goes through bluestone. This is then done in reverse before I get the info relayed back. I know
we Are all in the same boat and I’m sorry for having a whinge it just came as a shock today when I was told they aren’t even thinking about valuation as they are nowhere near looking at it 😞1 -

My brokers been really great previously, its only now its with Brightstar the process has slowed down but if I get the mortgage il be happy. I sympathise with how frustrated and hopeless you are feeling completely.1 -
But just to add yours was submitted you believed a long time before mine and to of thought it was done end of March and it was a whole month and a half after, is madness!1

Has anyone been asked for further bank statements after mortgage offer on completion? Just checking if I should still be downloading them and saving0
