Oh no 🙈 what a nightmare. At least you will have it all sorted thou. XJLW_25 said:
Because we have bought a part exchange property so the people who live in the house are buying a new build so we need to wait for that to be built which should be October! So we are having to complete our sale in august and move back in with my parents! I bet they’re thrilled to have me back with my partner and 3 year old 🙈 xKb21 said:
Why can’t u move till Oct?JLW_25 said:Our valuation has been done today... really hoping for the offer to come next week so I can settle down! Contracts are in and searches back so enquiries being raised next week! Hopefully nearing the end of the process even if we can’t move in until October 🙄
How long did it take people from Valuation to Offer? X0 -
I know! But it will be worth the wait because the house is perfect for us! Yeah that’s the plan, because there is a new build in the chain they want to exchange ASAP xKb21 said:

Question for those of you that have received your offer. How long did you wait between verbal and written?0

So just when I thought they couldn’t possibly ask for anymore aside from perhaps a kidney (they’ve had everything else) I’ve been asked to give another months bank statements. My cooker isn’t working and the house I’m buying has a built in oven so for the past month I’ve pretty much just had takeaways (oops) which isn’t making my bank statement look very good. Is it a bad sign that they keep asking for more? Apparently bright star submitted my application to bluestone on the 17th. Shock to me as I thought it was submitted on the 12th if not before. Started the process in March. Will I ever get my offer I’m sick now.0

Has anyone had hard search done before valuation. We have our DIP and a hard search but valuation hasn’t been done yet and some people on here seem to have had hard search after valuation0
-
We had our hard search a week ago and we’ve been told the valuation will be next, but not before going back and for with requests for documents as this is always expected of them apparently.1

We still haven’t had any searches and our valuation is next week. Didn’t have one at DIP either 🤷♀️For those of you buying a new build how quickly did you get an offer after your valuation? I’ve heard that for new builds they just get them done as early as poss and it doesn’t have any reflection on where we are in the process?0

It’s strange how everyone’s process is different. We are buying a new build have had a hard search for “first mortgage” showing on credit report however no valuation instructed yetCosy2020 said:We still haven’t had any searches and our valuation is next week.
